It’s always interesting seeing how two totally different types of animals will get on together. Cats in particular are known for having quite a short temperament when it comes to dealing with other animals, and they always make for the best entertainment when they’re forced to socialize.
So when a video emerged of a little goat attempting to headbutt a cat, we just knew that it was going to be brilliant. Strangely, it seems to be in a goat’s nature to headbutt everything, and unfortunately, the cat was the little goat’s latest target.
The hilarious moment was captured on video, and as the goat repeatedly attempts to headbutt his feline friend, we can see that the cat just isn’t having it – and as the cat’s patience wear thin, she finally loses it and gives the goat a hilarious little warning nip.
The video was shared onto YouTube by Lavender 23, and since being posted has received over 4.5 million views from people all over the world. Despite the video having no caption, we think the title of, “Baby Goat Tries to Headbutt Cat” is enough to tell us everything that we could possibly need to know.
The video begins with what appears to be a standoff between the goat and the cat. As the cat attempts to walk through the kitchen, she is halted in her tracks by the small but fierce goat. The goat stands in her way and stares at her as if daring her to move.
But the little goat is having none of it. He was put on this earth to headbutt, and that is what he shall do.
Unfortunately, the cat is quickly running out of patience – and as the goat moved in for headbutt attempt number four, the cat gives him a little nip to show him who’s really the boss around here. At this point, the poor little goat finally decided to give in, though we can’t help feeling like the cat hasn’t heard the last of this.
“Goat was definitely underleveled for this fight, tactics need a lot of improvement and he needs to invest some skill points in attack. Probably a new player.”
“The Goat’s like, “This feline has a nearly impenetrable forcefield. I must hit it in different places enough to weaken it!”
“It’s cool seeing the goat try to play using his goat etiquette, which any other goat would understand, but this cat is just like ‘what is this thing doing in my house and why does it keep bouncing like that’ lol.”
We like to think that this pair will grow up to be the best of friends, so long as the goat holds back on those headbutts! Watch the hilarious video below.
