In human language, some words would be considered “unkind” or “rude” to use. While we won’t be going into any detail today on what exactly those words are, it is important to point out that different cultures view different words as offensive.

The use of the word is what makes it bad.

Humans love to come up with special words for special things. When you think about it, the power that a word has to evoke a certain emotion is astonishing. Do any other animals have this capability?

There is only one curse word in the “language of dogs.”

Humans have dozens of words that would make your mother blush. Dogs only have one, or two, depending on how you look at it. The Vet. “The vet” is quite possibly the worst thing that you can say to a dog. For them, these syllables strike fear into even the largest, scariest dog out there!

Dogs and their fear of the vet is longstanding.

Starting from when a puppy is little, regular checkups to the vet usually include some amount of poking and prodding. On top of that, the offices are typically full of other animals that often make as much noise as they can! Vets are stressful places for animals.

As this video shows, even driving into the parking lot is enough to cause panic.

As far as big, brave dogs go, German Shepherds might be top of the food chain! They are bred for police and military purposes and are smart and strong enough to accomplish almost any task. Will this doggy curse word scare one of the world’s toughest breeds?

Enzo is a German Shepherd that got into the car with his owner for a pleasant drive.

Typically, dogs love car rides. Sticking their face out the window, smelling the world, and spending time with their owners are all things dogs can’t get enough of. Enzo, however, was about to get a rude awakening.

When a dog gets in a car, it has no idea where it’s going.

It could be the beach, the park, or…. the vet. Dogs can never know until they arrive, however. Enzo the dog seems to have a very real understanding of the different places he has visited with his owner, and one particular parking lot strikes fear into his doggy bones.

Pulling into the parking lot, reality dawns on Enzo.

When he realizes that he has, in fact, been duped into getting into the car, Enzo starts to panic! Looking around every window in the car, Enzo knows EXACTLY where he is. He is at *gulp* the vet!

Whining and freaking out, Enzo, thankfully, has nothing to worry about.

Enzo’s dad hopped on YouTube to let us know why Enzo was even there in the first place! Having recently moved from a northern state in the U.S. to a southern one, Enzo’s allergies were acting up and they were just getting him a check-up.

“Enzo is going to the vet for a check up. His family recently moved from a northern state to a southern state, his allergies did not appreciate that at all. But all is well with Enzo now!”

Maybe after this more pleasant experience with the vet, Enzo won’t be as worried next time.

Dogs and veterinarians may just be destined to be locked in battle until the end of time. Regardless, we are happy to hear that Enzo was just getting an allergy checkup. It’s wild to think that dogs know which parking lots they are in around town!

Check out the hilarious video below (and don’t use the word “vet” around your dog)!
