Baby animals are some of the cutest things ever to grace our lives. Let’s be honest, if we couldn’t sit on YouTube and Instagram watching clips of cute animals, how would we have made it through lockdown? In short, we wouldn’t have.
Thankfully, there is always new content coming out that gives us warm fuzzies.
The best part is that with so much time spent at home these last few months, our pets have never been happier. The past year will go down as the Golden Age in pet history. With all this time spent at home, owners across the world have gotten to capture more videos of their furry friends than ever before.
One viral video does more than just capture a furry friend – it captures a feathered one, too!
Meet Rocky, a German shepherd puppy that has been making the internet laugh for months now! Rocky has his own YouTube channel and is very successful. He looks like he’s a “lockdown dog” (a dog that someone gets while they’re bored during lockdown)! So many pets have found homes during the past few months, and Rocky is one of them!
His owner decided to film him doing something hilarious, and the result earned him 1.6 million views!
Rocky’s owner thought it would be awesome to let him meet a little friend. It’s always great to introduce puppies to new animals because you can train them in understanding how to treat them. This past summer, Rocky met a duckling!
The little two-month-old pup got to play with a baby duckling for a while!
The best part? We all get to watch! His owner has set up a blue kiddy pool and put the CUTEST duckling in it. The duckling is alone for a few seconds and just sits there dunking his head and looking as cute as earthly possible.
When Rocky comes over, it’s like an explosion of cuteness.
He sees the duckling and looks SUPER confused for a second. After a bit, he gets the courage to go ahead and get closer to his new friend. A few sniffs later, and he feels ready to hop in the cold water with the duckling. Putting his front paws, he gets ready for the plunge.
Hopping in, it’s officially time to play!
Like old friends, the two different species have some fun cooling down on a hot summer day. You might even laugh out loud when you see Rocky trying to escape out of the pool! His back legs get stuck, and he can’t seem to get himself out of the slippery side.
Near the end, we see that the two are now fast friends.
This video is proof that having a friend that’s different from you can create some of the best friendships ever. Little Rocky and the duckling need to go on some adventures together! That would be something the internet would LOVE to see.
