As popular and as good looking as German Shepherds are, there’s no denying the fact that these dogs provide some of the funniest videos ever. They have great intelligence and perhaps it is precisely because of that trait that these handsome dogs give so many entertaining moments.
Known for their courage, undying devotion, and daring exploits, the GSD is one of the world’s most beloved dog breeds excelling in sports, security, and family oriented roles. Put them anywhere and they will excel.
Just feed them well.
See, this German Shepherd is making sure that his owner knows how hungry he is. Maybe it was a busy day, maybe his human forgot, or maybe he just likes to eat a lot. Whatever the case, this furry boy sits in front of his dish and swipes at it with a paw, his dish making that clanging sound as it spun on the floor.
Big boys need nutrition!
Head down, dejected look and all, he sure looks disappointed! This dog can act. Put him in a drama series or something. His owner suddenly addresses him,
“Can I help you?”
Perk up!
The GSD stares at his human with expectant eyes. Eyes so sweet you’d grab him and give him a nice, long hug just to make him feel better. But it’s food he wants so who knows if that would work.
He even does the classic GSD head tilt when listening. And for every word his human says to him, he looks up and tilts his head as if trying to understand what the hold up is. As if to say, just feed me already!
Here’s a little bit of love.
The dog walks over and starts to lick his owner’s hand before looking up with an innocent expression. His human asks him what he wants and in typical GSD fashion, looks at the closed door behind him, giving it a nudge. Well played, sir.
That’s a woof!
The man opens the door to reveal the good stuff. The stuff he likes! The dog points at it with his nose then goes back to giving his owner’s hand a few licks. Doggy kisses are supposed to work! What gives?
“What? You want some food? Food? You hungry?”
Asks his hooman.
“Woof!”
That’s a resounding reply!
“It is midday! You just ate! And you’re hungry again??”
Well, guess what.
The dog circles around his owner and taps his dish once again, making a loud clanging sound to show his indignation. He’s got a huge appetite! His owner, exasperated, gives in and finally opens the door to grab some of his treats. GSD wins!
Loud and proud!
German Shepherds have starred in movies, led the blind, chased down criminals, sniffed out bombs and drugs, visited the elderly, and even helped rescuers during the 9/11 incident. Of course he’s proud!
But all that work makes one hungry, doesn’t it? This boy guards his human’s house, watches over the family, and many other amusing antics so it’s only natural that he works up an appetite! He certainly knows what he wants. And he knows how to get it. Now if only us humans could get away with the same drama.
