He looks pretty shocked to see that floaties float away, so if he does make it back we’re pretty sure he won’t be going near the pool again any time soon.

It is a perfectly timed photograph though and we can only assume someone would only post it if their dog was ok.

We’re willing to bet he went right back to playing frisbee.

For the thrill? The attention? The inconvenience of the humans who need to get you down?

Probably all of the above.

And we’re not sure this hilarious cat regrets a single thing.

In fact, that static probably tickles. And the bonus is they can now watch their humans clean up their mess.

While a dog might go for it anyway, this cat is looking at its owner like “you better be planning to put that dirty food in my bowl!”

And to be fair we’ve gotten stuck in a hammock once or twice too.

It just managed to climb in there with the tree and can’t get out.

We’re just glad we’re not the human who has to figure out how to fix this situation.

But clearly he sees someone who might pet him, so it’s all good. Just smile and act like everything is normal!

One second you’re out enjoying yourself in the sun and playing a game of catch and the next you’re glad you got neutered.

Luckily, cats forget quickly. But when they do remember, they do it at 4 am.

This is quite the predicament. The poor pup has nothing left to give.

It’s one thing when the frisbee hits you, but it’s quite another when you’re your own worst weapon.

Sadly, this is mud. But we have to say, we can’t figure out quite how this splatter pattern happened.

We can already see this cat’s wheels turning, wondering how to blame the dog for all this.

So if the food bowl is still full after dinner, now you know where to look.

The slide is coming to an end and hopefully so it this pup’s terror.

We wonder if he wanted to go again after he realized it was no big deal or if he managed to faceplant.

Cats really have it made when you think about it. Everything seems to taste so delicious to them that they eat it with great gusto.

But we’re not entirely sure this cat regrets anything. In fact, it looks pretty comfy.

Or else the dog is torturing the cat and it finally found a perfect, if nerve-wracking, hiding spot.

We’re pretty sure he can swim safely to shore, but he looks a little hesitant.

Looks like someone is going to have to come to fish him out.

At least he looks like he knows how bad this looks.

Alas, this pup doesn’t look like he wanted to be wearing his dinner.

Why do they keep doing it even though they get stuck every time?!

He can’t be happy like that.

The good news is he’s ready for the Pride parade!

Cats catch on to stuff like that, and they don’t get over it easily.

Then again, maybe this is the kind of thing that happens all the time to this attempted escapee.

We’re not sure if this pup is stuck or just visiting. But he doesn’t look like he intended to get his photo taken.

It’s working, if you ask us. Then again, he didn’t tear apart anything of ours.

And by the way this cat is looking at the ground, we’re guessing he doesn’t have a plan to rescue himself.

But we did chuckle at this family photo and the look on the baby’s face while he tries to navigate the world through his cup of curiosity.

Is the water cold – or does he just really not enjoy being wet and forgot that what pools are all about.

Or he’s reeling in a fish that’s too big for his line.

We can’t tell what level of regret this pup has though. He could just be waiting for someone to play with him.

How come no one thinks it’s cute when we do this?

But she looks pretty embarrassed to be bi-colored with mud.

He just doesn’t have a good send of space – or geometry – or common sense.

This playground puppy seems less than impressed with the stuff that looks so fun to the kids.

But it was worth a try, we suppose.

This corgi seems to belong to the latter category.

But who knows? Maybe he was ready to go ahead right away!

It’s just a yawn, but it does look like he just got told that dinner won’t be tuna.
