Shiba Inu Maru is an internet celebrity with over 2.3 million followers on Instagram! The sweet little guy loves to sleep, especially with his little stuffed polar bear toy- and his pure adorableness is enough to skyrocket him into internet fame. We wish we could get famous from sleeping!

This dog is more photogenic than we could ever be, and we definitely feel the supermodel vibes radiating from this little diva. Work it, girl! She could certainly teach us a thing or two.

Just as we were about to get all worried, we soon realized that the dog in this picture isn’t lost- his owners just want to show him off. And with a face that cute, we can’t even be mad! We don’t think we’ve ever seen a dog with a smile as big as this one before.

Dogs like to get themselves in some tricky situations, but this happy guy is the CEO of making bad decisions and just rolling with them. He seems totally chill to be stuck halfway through a bush overlooking a miniature cliff side- but people do always say that it’s best not to panic in these situations. Can this dog be our therapist?

We’ve never been the camping type, but somehow the idea of camping with two Shiba Inus in tow makes the whole thing a lot more appealing. Taking a dog camping will not only provide you with protection from strangers but also from bugs too. Oh, and they’ll never complain about being cold.

Uni-Chan is a 7-year-old Shiba Inu who loves swings- and in case you don’t believe us, here’s a pic for proof! Her big happy smile is the most adorable thing we’ve seen today, and we can’t help but feel that we’d spend more time at the park with her than we would do at home! Such joy.

You know what they say- couples who workout together, stay together. But we have to admit, the woman looks as if she’s enjoying the pair’s morning yoga class a lot more than her furry partner. “But Sarah, I told you that I wanted to do the lifting…”

The best thing about this rare photo of a turbo dog is that despite the overall movement of the head, the dog’s nose remains still the entire time! Is this proof that the head revolves around the snout? If you boop the snoot, does he stop? We have so many questions.

You might have seen a flying dog before- but have you ever seen a flying dog wearing a jumpsuit before? We bet you haven’t! Our dog would through the biggest strop if we tried to convince him to wear human clothes, but this pup is showing us just what good sports Shiba Inus are!

There’s no bond quite as sweet as that between a mama ad her baby- especially when her pup is the one who’s feeling the love! What a beautiful little family.

Ever wondered what dog owners do with their pet’s fur after brushing it? Granted, most of us throw it away, but one man decided that he wasn’t going to waste his pup’s hair, and instead crafted a pretty cool-looking dog wig out of it. Despite being totally unimpressed with her new hairstyle, this Shiba Inu takes it all in her stride.

The longer we look at this picture, the more real dogs we spot! A first we saw just one, but on a second glance, there’s definitely at least two Shiba Inus in this adorable snap. What we’re really wondering is how the owner was able to make his dogs stay in this exact position for the photo! These must be some well-trained pups.

This 7-year old cutie is another social media star, and we’re starting to believe that Shiba Inus are simply destined for fame! This is the cutest little *blep* we ever did see, and we wish that we could go through the screen and give this dog a cuddle! Doesn’t he just look so soft?

We’ve seen humans with barbie dolls, but we never knew that dogs also enjoyed playing with smaller, model versions of themselves. The concentration on this little guy’s face is all too clear to see. We wonder what he’s thinking about?

This dog understands all too well what it’s like to be hangry. In fact, we think we’ve had this exact look pre-covid when we were two hours into a work meeting that didn’t seem to be ending anytime soon. Those meeting-before-lunch belly rumbles are enough to drown out a whole one hour pitch.

Think hiking is just for the big, strong dogs with the long legs? Well, think again! Shiba Inus are totally eager to please and are always up for a long, scenic walk. “Let’s go hooman! I’m totally ready.”

Somehow, the title of this sweet pic doesn’t give us enough context. These three, perfectly-sized holes which are at the perfect Shiba Inu height has us thinking that the dogs’ owner may have played a part in this! We reckon the holes are a perfect lookout point from the dogs’ garden- and we’re sure it gives passers-by a laugh too!

Is this not the most extra dancer you’ve ever seen? Not only are the dog’s feet tapping out a perfect rhythm, but his expression is perfectly on point as well. With that charisma, we’d love to see him on Dancing With The Stars.

…Or Shiba Inus are made from memory foam? What is this sorcery? This picture just makes Shiba Inus look even more cuddle-worthy!

Being from Japan, of course these Shiba know karate! Though judging by the water droplets in this pic, we’d take an educated guess and say that these two buddies are much more likely to be using their karate skills on their soap suds, not on each other! We hope they taught those suds a thing or two.

Shia Inus seem to know how to get all the right angles, and this little guy is working the camera! He’s got that glancing over the shoulder pose sussed, and we reckon he’s pretty popular with the females. What a little charmer.

We’d bet that Yoshi’s owner was going for a sweet photo of his dog sniffing a flower, but this crazy pup had other things on his mind. Truth be told, the silly pics always remain closer to our hearts than the sensible ones, and we think these cute snaps capture Yoshi’s personality perfectly! We hope he enjoyed his tasty flower.

In all honesty, we’ve often wondered why there’s never any dog or cat ghosts wandering round amongst the human forms, so maybe now we’re finally getting some evidence that dog ghosts do exist after all? Oh never mind- we just spotted the cute toes sticking out from the bottom of the curtains.

“I have come to steal your s…snackkksssss”

As chill as Shiba Inus are, they have their off days just like the rest of us- and when their siblings are being extra annoying, they need to be taught a lesson! We totally admire his attempts to hide the evidence, though. “Where is my brother? Dear human, you must be mistaken I don’t have a brother…”

If this dog could talk, he would be saying, “You loser dogs gotta walk, but I got my own chauffeur.” Just look at that satisfied expression! And the way he’s sitting all chill in that basket? Our dog could never.

Those are the tiniest, roundest, cutest looking ears we’ve ever seen on a dog, and we refuse to believe that they’re real. They slightly remind us of the end of a balloon when you tie it off, and we’re living for it! Oh, what we’d give to pet this dog.

Here is a Shiba doing what Shibas do best: posing. This confident chicka is fully aware that she’s slaying up the place, and she’s not shy to flaunt that cute bushy tail. We wish we were that photogenic.

In a group of friends, there’s always that one derpy pal- and that’s no exception for dog friendship groups. Despite his three brothers nailing the shot, this clumsy pup can’t quite get the balance on his two back legs! On second thoughts, he could also be tactfully guarding what appears to be a hamburger wrapper.

Some dogs love bath time, some dogs hate it- and this poor Shiba looks as if she’s leaning more towards hate. “Why is it so cold, mom? And why does my fur taste funny?” The poor thing looks like she isn’t quite sure what to do with herself!

The only thing more satisfying than tickling a baby is ticking a Shiba Inu- and that’s a fact. Judging by the surprised expression on this dog’s face, we honestly can’t tell whether he’s enjoying himself, or whether he’s mentally screaming, “stooop hooman, I surrender!!” What a little drama queen.

If this Shiba was a human, he would be the kind of guy who goes to the gym 6 times a week and only eats chicken and broccoli. Kind of like a Shibuff (sorry). After spotting the reflection of a cat in the driver’s wing mirror, it leaves no question of what this big beefy boy is looking at.

As if Shiba Inus weren’t already multi-talented, we now have to add artist to their list of benefits. This dog has created a modern art masterpiece, and we’re ashamed to say that it’s certainly better than anything we could do. Someone needs to hang this masterpiece in a gallery, asap!

Who knew that Shiba Inus were experts at doing the “smoosh face” too??! This is the funniest thing we’ve seen in a long while.

“I’m meltingg I’m meltingggggggg.”

Well, we can say that we’ve all learned a lesson here. When you don’t construct a dog door when your dog wants one, then a door is what the dog will make. Shiba Inus are much too clever for us humans!

Despite being covered in fur, Shibas love to get warm and toasty too! This little guy looks like the most satisfied pup in the world- and for him, we would leave the heater on all day. We wish we could join him!

This shot is so rare that we would totally back it being hung in a gallery. Not only does Shiba number one’s tail have to stay still for long enough to get the snap, but Shiba number two also has to keep his head in that exact position! A feat that our own dogs could certainly not achieve (but we love them anyway).
