Sometimes you don't want to dance at the party. 😉

Trying to find a dog that doesn’t love water isn’t easy. Especially those bred for swimming, like Labradors and Irish Water Spaniels, they’ll jump into anything from a small puddle to the ocean. As a matter of fact, some pups love the water so much that once they’re in it, you can’t get them out.

It’s their instinct

Even when small puppies, most dogs naturally gravitate to water. They enjoy the way it feels on their bodies and in the summertime, swimming is a great way to cool down. Of course, it’s excellent exercise, as well.

Waterparks

Today, waterparks aren’t just for humans. They’ve becoming increasing popular for pet owners. Sometimes, a pool is part of a doggie daycare while other times, it’s a standalone feature. Either way, people love watching their dogs have fun alone or with other furry friends.

A party in Virginia

One doggie daycare in Virginia called Happy Tails Resort is popular for a number of reasons. Not only do the dogs that visit get treated like Royalty but they get to enjoy a pool. That means this facility hosts parties specifically for canines. With a bunch of them together, they jump off the side into the water, chase balls, and just swim.

Participating in the fun

In a video that’s gone viral with more than 287,000 views, people can see what these doggie pool parties are all about. But one day, a particular dog stood out and it’s hilarious. As the video starts, you see multiple dogs of various breeds splashing around in the water.

Deadpanning

But if you keep watching, you’ll notice an adorable dog in the middle of the pool. Rather than having fun with his friends, he decided to deadpan. In simple terms, he wasn’t interested in participating. Nope, he had his own idea of fun.

Capturing it on video

Some guy started filing the dog because he was so funny. No matter what was going on around him or how much the other pups tried to encourage him to play, he wasn’t interested. Instead, he stared back at the person behind the camera.

Not moving

Throughout the entire 55-second video, this pup stands on his hind legs in the middle of the pool. Keeping his balance for so long is quite impressive. Especially when you consider all the movement in the water caused by the other dogs.

Comments flooded in

It didn’t take long after uploading the video for people to start leaving comments. One poster sarcastically said, “I had fun once. It was awful.” Another individual commented this, “Me in the middle of Wal-Mart on Black Friday.”

More people had something to say

An individual posted, “He’s looking at nothing…he’s standing still because he’s taking a pee in the pool.” Then, there’s this one, “See how the dog licks its lips? Yeah, that means there is someone behind the camera with food.”

Too much

There are a lot of funny dog videos online and then, there’s this one. It’s truly priceless. Seeing a dog deadpanning isn’t common, especially when in the water surrounded by toys and friends. Although we’ll never know what this pup was thinking, he appears to be perfectly content.
