The newest cat video to hit the internet has viewers in laughter realizing not only is it comedy gold, but represents something we all face in life from one time to another. Do we go ahead and start a conflict – or just let something go? If we do start it, how do we go about it? Calmly with thoughtful words and actions, or do we just haul off and let our feelings be known?
This calculating cat is going through the same kind of dilemma thinking for a bit before taking his action.
One can only wonder if he’s waiting for just the right moment, or is there an inner battle going on inside him that he ultimately loses to?
These two pets represent pretty much every stereotype we have about cats and dogs.
There sits an unsuspecting dog likely not thinking about anything but his next treat or cuddle from his owner. But perched above him is the cat. And, just wait until you see the look on the cat’s face the entire time. His expression says it all as he’s clearly waiting for the opportune moment to strike and hoping it will be without repercussion. But this cat quickly learns that life doesn’t work that way. There is always a consequence, whether good or bad, to our actions. And that makes the video all the funnier to enjoy.
Watching the cat plotting while the dog is none the wiser is just too much comedy.
But, it doesn’t come without a payback and that may just be the reason the cat was so slow and calculative hoping to avoid it.
The moment captured becomes extra funny when we think about even times in our own lives where we think ahead of time whether or not it’s worth starting a conflict and then follow through with behavior we may not always be proud of. And, who knows, perhaps the dog did something to deserve it that wasn’t caught on film. We like to think that dogs are always the innocent creatures, but we will do our best to give the cat the benefit of the doubt that perhaps the dog had it coming.
We can only hope their friendship continues but also hope their antics make their way to us again to give everyone a good laugh. Truth is though conflicts can arise with cats and dogs they truly can be the best of friends and aren’t sworn enemies like in the cartoons. Many cat and dog owners express their pets play and get along with each other just fine. Though it is reported that if the pets are introduced at a young age the success rate is higher. And interestingly enough, it usually is the cat that calls the shots. But they certainly can find a way to cohabit and in most cases bring their owners entertainment and love.
