What do you picture your dream job to be?
Some may have imagined themselves working on the beach, sipping their favorite drinks while listening to the crashing waves.
But have you ever considered working with one of the most adorable creatures on Earth day in, and day out?
Panda bears might be the cutest animals in the world.
YouTube channel iPanda posted a video of how adorable these animals move and what it’s like to be around these huggable beasts.
In the minute-long video, a panda cub waddles toward its caretaker. At first, the panda was unsure how it will proceed. The caretaker was “high and tall” to baby panda standards but it wanted some hugs and affection.
Luckily, the caretaker made the panda cub feel that everything is okay.
The caretaker went down to the panda’s level and offered it a big hug. The panda, of course, readily accepted the offer.
It obviously enjoyed the attention and the affection. The bear danced a bit and did a lot of reaching and clawing.
In the end, the young animal gave the caretaker a big bear hug.
Imagine having to deal with this level of cuteness every single working day. This might be classified as the least stressful work in the history of mankind.
Getting paid for doing what you’re good at is fantastic. But getting paid to hug cute animals is a very different story.
People all over the internet shared their reactions.
“I’ve never seen a panda that wasn’t cute and clumsy. They don’t age out of it they just get bigger and cuter,” said one comment.
“Every time I watch a panda video, I’m convinced that the nannies are some of the most disciplined people on earth. I wouldn’t last two minutes without dropping my chores to hug a baby panda,” admitted another. And we kind of agree.
“I believe this is the most stress-free job in the entire world. Would love to sign up for one,” said another.
Giant pandas are one of the most recognizable animals on the planet.
They have the most distinct markings from the bear family with black ears, eyes, and limbs. Compared to other bears, they heavily rely on plants for sustenance most notably bamboo.

The bears have a limited habitat. Their populations are concentrated in Central China. However, due to human activities and habitat encroachment, their numbers dwindled and made them highly reliant on conservation efforts.
Back in 2014, a post from China’s Giant Panda Protection and Research center became viral.
The research center posted a job offer for the panda caretaker position. The responsibilities include hanging out with panda cubs and showing them love.

On top of having free meals, transportation, and accommodations, caretakers will be paid around $32,000 a year.

“Your work has only one mission, spending 365 days with the pandas and sharing in their joys and sorrows.” The organizers said. And with that, only one question remains: Where do we all sign up for panda bear hugs?
