While there are all kinds of amazing dog breeds, just about everyone loves the French Bulldog. Also referred to as the “Frenchie,” this adorable pup has become highly popular. Not only is this dog affectionate but also charming.
A lot of people like this smaller breed because it’s not an obsessive barker. At the same time, they make great watchdogs, letting their owners know if someone’s around. Even though they don’t “talk” much, some, like the pup in this story, enjoy singing.
Going for a drive
In a video that’s now been viewed more than 32,000 times, you see a man and a woman driving in a car. In between the two of them is an adorable black and white French Bulldog. At first, he just stares out the window.
Are you ready?
That’s the question the woman passenger asks the pup. With that, she begins singing Diamond in the Sky by Rhianna. When he hears her voice, the dog perks up a little bit. By the way, the woman’s voice is heavenly.
It becomes a duo
As the woman continues to sing, the pup pays more attention. Then, the man driving the car joins in. Now, both this dog’s mom and dad are singing this amazing song.
Such a big yawn
If you listen carefully, you’ll hear a few tiny whines coming from the Frenchie. Then, he opens his mouth wide as if yawning. When done, his whining becomes just a tad bit louder.
Then it happens
As this dog continues to look out the windshield and whine, he suddenly tilts his head all the way back. He’s still taking in the amazing sound of his mom and dad singing. But then, he too starts to “sing.”
His singing grows stronger
The longer his human parents sing the more excited this dog becomes. He wants to let loose so bad. And that’s what he does. Although he still hasn’t broken out all his vocal power, he’s turned a duo into a trio.
There it is
He can’t hold back any longer. He begins to sing as loud and hard as he can. In response to the pup’s performance, you see both his mom and dad grin. They’re very impressed with their boy.
Incredible vocals
One of the many things that make this video so fun to watch is that at times, this French Bulldog makes more of a humming sound. But then he kicks things into high gear with flat out “singing.” It’s super sweet.
He follows their lead
When the lyrics are soft, he reduces the volume of his voice. But when the song intensifies, he does what his mom and dad do. The louder they sing…the louder he sings. It’s as though he knows this song quite well.
Impeccable harmony
Toward the end of the video, his mom and dad start harmonizing. And if you listen to the dog, it sounds like he too is trying his best to do the same. This video was taken last year. We can only imagine how much better this French Bulldog has become since then.
