If you own a dog, you’d know how expressive they can be.
From excitement to frustration, they have their own way of letting you know how they’re feeling or what they’re thinking.
They howl and they sing and such behaviors are just natural.
Walter, a French Bulldog, takes singing to a whole different level.
Although Frenchies don’t have a big bark, they know how to make a statement.
Walter is one concrete example.
In one viral video, you can see Walter showing off his talent.
Well, he wasn’t exactly out to show off how good he can sing. In fact, he was just out with his mom one day.
Walter doesn’t like getting ignored.
While out, his mom decided to engage in a conversation with a friend.
This is something Walter can’t tolerate and so he did what he likes doing to get people’s attention.
He sang!
And no, it’s not your regular performance. Walter doesn’t sing like most Frenchies.
He’s into a very specific genre- opera!
There’s passion in every note.
Just watching the video, you can easily tell how passionate Walter can be when it comes to entertaining his audience.
He’s belting out the notes like he’s in competition with Andrea Bocelli and Luciano Pavarotti.
And the best part? He didn’t even have to be on stage or auditorium to show his talent.
He was just in the car with no costume or microphone.
He deserves a standing ovation.
And that’s exactly what he got.
Well, kind of.
A lot of people on the internet have been raving about how good his vocal skills are.
And while he didn’t get a literal standing ovation, he got himself tons of likes and hearts.
His video has been viewed a million times, earning hundreds of positive comments from fans.
One particular YouTube viewer said:
“Arguably my most favorite video of these animals. I always come back to it when I want to show somebody the breed.”
Another one said:
“this dog has serious talent.”
There was also another fan that said:
“Many dedicated years of voice training really paid off. Beautiful!”
French Bulldogs can be noisy.
In fact, they love contributing to family discussions.
They’ll growl, yip, gargle, yawn, and howl just to show that they have something to say.
Clearly, they have such really fun personalities.
Plus, they’re quite emotional by nature.
If you scold them, they’ll turn moody even if it’s their fault in the first place.
Walter isn’t the only singing dog from his breed.
The internet just loves singing dogs, particularly French Bulldogs.
This is one good reason why they’re so popular.
Apart from Walter, there’s Haru.
The Frenchie loves singing so much that her human made sure she has her own microphone for her performances.
She likes delivering her songs with tons of emotions and matching facial expressions, making people fall for her even more.
