It’s a common fact that animals are starting to take over our streets whilst we’re all locked down, and many people are sharing pictures of their garden visitors, whether they be cute, silly, or just outright terrifying.
England is a country that doesn’t often get many visits from dangerous wildlife, meaning that most time an animal is passing through your garden, it’s likely to be the cute sort.
And after seeing a video of a man from Suffolk’s adorable garden visitors, we’ve decided we want to move to England ASAP!
Adam Sadler, from Ipswich, Suffolk, uploaded this sweet video to his Facebook page on April 29, 2020, with the caption: ‘Nice surprise in my garden this morning..’ and we just can’t get enough! The video shows a fox mama and her cubs passing through his garden, and the sheer adorableness sent the whole internet into meltdown.
The video now has 414,000 views, over 11k shares, and 10k likes, and these numbers are growing day by day as people relish in how truly adorable it is.
The fox mama clearly wants a quick journey — but that’s impossible when you have five little cubs in tow! After being kissed on the nose by one of her little ones, the mom walks towards a gap in the bottom of the fence that they can all squeeze under.
She looks back as if to say, “come along now!” and then heads through the gap, but only one of the cubs follows her! The rest are intent on play-fighting with each other, and this is far more important than reaching the end of their journey.
The sweet cubs roll around in the grass and pounce on each other like little puppies. They have to prove that they’re brave and strong predators just like their mama.
The poor mom looks like she’s done with her kids for today — we’ve all been there!
Speaking of the video, Adam told Ipswich Star:
“It was just a really welcome surprise and I felt quite lucky to witness this moment.”
Just imagine looking out of your window in the morning and seeing that! We’re so glad that Adam had his phone with him and decided to film the whole moment. Adam seems to feel the same way, saying:
“I am also glad that others seem to be enjoying it too, it seems to be cheering people up.”
It’s certainly a welcome video during these uncertain times.
Many users took to the comments to show their love for the video. One person wrote: “Aww! She’s found a safe place for her babies,” whilst another commented: “Oh my word I’m in love.” Someone else added: “If I saw this in my garden, I’d most certainly pass out with excitement,” and we have to agree!
With the world currently being on lockdown, it’s easy to feel like everything is on a standstill. So it’s lovely to see that life is still going on as normal for these beautiful animals.
