It’s not every day we see a flying squirrel as a pet.

It is not the first animal you can think of as a house pet since they’re considered wild animals.

But when we do see one, it sparks our curiosity about what they can do at home with their humans.

Do they always fly around, or can they do certain tricks?

Certainly, we do not expect one to know how to act!

Yes, act – like an Oscar-winning performance kind of acting.

This video will change your mind if you don’t believe that.

Get ready to be mind-blown… and share a good giggle with someone as you share this with others.

This Twitter video went viral because of this flying squirrel’s superb acting performance.

User Sarah Bee (@BirelleBee) shared a video of a brown flying squirrel who seemed bored inside the house.

So, he did something to catch his human’s attention, who was filming as if anticipating something sneaky or quirky.

The flying squirrel thought of the perfect “crime scene,” and it’s hilarious!

He crawled from under the chair and table, looking for a target, but with his direction, he seemed like he was already eyeing something.

He sprinted towards a broom and knocked it down the floor!

That’s not even the climax of the flying squirrel’s act yet.

He returned for the broom’s handle, and guess what he did with it?

He slid underneath the broom, lay there with arms and legs wide open, and just froze, pretending he was dead.

What a funny little creature!

But he wanted to make sure that he was convincing.

So, he glanced sideways as if to say, “Hey, mom! Did you see that? Did you really think I was dead? Did I fool you? No? Okay.”

Then, did the same thing again…

And again…

And many more times throughout the video!

Yes, yes, we get it. You’re a talented little guy, and if we didn’t see what actually happened, you would have made a convincing dead-flying squirrel under the broom!

The people on Twitter shared some witty replies that made this post even more entertaining.

They loved how silly the flying squirrel seemed and how it was like a child begging for attention with his pretend-death scene.

One even commented like the famed Lt. Joe Kenda of Homicide Hunter would in each case he investigates!

A few raised concerns about keeping a flying squirrel as a pet.

In the United States, people are advised to check with their local laws if they’re allowed to have them inside their homes.

However, if you listen closely to the woman’s voice behind the camera, she wasn’t speaking English, so this may not be in America, and maybe flying squirrels are allowed to become pets there – who knows!

I’m glad they shared this funny video clip because it brightened people’s day.
