This kitty in a basket is being sniffed on by a dog and to be honest, there are times when you can’t tell where the cat is.The cat is dwarfed by the dog but see how those two hearts are able to bridge their differences.
The dog is so gentle with the tiny kitty even when he (she?) puts a paw on the cat.
A man left a comment saying,
“Two cotton balls. One big and one small.”
Imagine the fun you’ll have having these two around.
Do away with the stereotype that cats and dogs are bitter rivals. They CAN get along. It just takes really good owners to do so. If both animals have gentle dispositions, then it’s a huge bonus.
They even share a food bowl!
Not sure how they can create space and fit those snouts in, but okay. Also, is that a mix of cat and dog food?
That dog is so gentle around the cat. He just lays around letting the kitty move as it wills and if the dog does need to move, he goes about it slowly, like he’s almost afraid to trample on his little friend. Look at the size of this dog!
Cats and dogs don’t naturally hate each other.
They’re really just instincts. Like the need to sniff and chase out of curiosity. Also, dogs are pack animals with a need to socialize whereas cats are usually alone. They like their solitude and space. Dogs can be quite intrusive in very cute ways. Well to us humans at least.
There are issues of territory, space, food, and so on but really if both pets are domesticated and trained well then it shouldn’t be much of a problem. It’s just going to take a lot of patience on the part of the owners.
Dedication and patience are keys to fostering a good relationship.
Sometimes, this dog just wants to laze around but the cat has other ideas. The little kitty tries to play around every once in awhile getting a few reactions from his big friend. The sweet part is when the cat is sleeping and a human hand can be seen about to touch the cat, and the dog reaches out with his paw to stop the hand. Don’t disturb his friend!
And finally they get their own bowls!

That is so true. Especially now with everything going on in the world, us humans could learn a lesson or two from these two angels.
