This man just wanted to visit his daughter and her family when he was attacked… By a flurry of British shorthair cats. In fact, it was a clowder of cats.
They climbed up on top of him. The cats sat on top of him. They surrounded him. And he couldn’t do anything about it.
And he doesn’t want to do anything about it anyway, except to play with them and have fun with the cats. Caramel, Garfield, Pixel, Bianca, and William were so ecstatic that their granddad came to spend time with them.
While Granddad sits on the couch, Garfield, Caramel, and Pixel join him.
Garfield climbs on his stomach so he can get his face closer for a kiss. Caramel was content laying down on Granddad’s lap. And Pixel was by Granddad’s hand, hoping for a belly rub.
And he got some belly rubs!
Whenever Granddad stopped the belly rubs, he always grabbed his hand to tell him not to stop. Then Caramel lifted his head to get some love and Granddad stopped the belly rubs for Pixel to pet Caramel’s head.
Oh, the cats could not stop loving and hugging their granddad and Granddad is the same. While they were hugging him, he kept petting and touching them.
Some of them were lying down on his body and some were on top of his shoulder. He would go for a kiss and the cats would start licking his face.
It is such a sweet sight to behold!
Wonder how long Granddad sits like that on the couch before they leave. Or do the cats never leave his side as long as he was in the house?
It looks like it because the cats look so content just by his presence.
It’s so sweet to see when men love cats.
They turn to complete mush whenever cats are around. Although, they are like any other cat person who just becomes a different person when there’s a cat.
“I’ve known men who profess to dislike cats,” Tom Cox, an author and cat lover, explained. “But a surprising amount of the same men, if pushed, will admit that they at least ‘don’t mind’ them; the dislike is a masculine façade, like a workbench you keep clearly visible in your shed, but don’t intend to use.”
For some, it seems strange that men would love cats but that may be the best part about them.
When men love cats, they learn to respect moods. Men begin to understand that sometimes cats need all the attention and sometimes, they want you to stay away.
They learn to appreciate different sides or personalities because of having cats. They can be both aloof, lazy, sweet, loving, bratty, and affectionate all at the same time.
The bottom line is, men who love cats are almost always good guys. Men who love cats? It’s a good thing.
Granddad is now trapped and he can’t get up. And no, he doesn’t mind being trapped by all these cats.
