Massages are relaxing and rejuvenating experiences that everyone loves. They help relax our muscles and knots. Massages are also great therapy for people who suffer from muscle pain.

But it’s not just humans who love a good massage – animals do too!

In a video shared on YouTube, a group of linemen were fixing the electrical lines when they spotted a fawn.

The fawn was near the electrical lines and had gotten tangled in thorns.

The poor deer was scared and injured.

“My buddy and I were clearing a right of way for the electric lines and came across this fawn trapped in the fall path of the tree we were about to trim.” Justin Lewis wrote in the YouTube description of the video.

It was heartbreaking to see the fawn struggling.

Instantly, a lineman named Justin grabbed the small fawn and carried it in his arms.

The wounded fawn was still crying, so Justin started rubbing its belly.

The result was instant. The poor fawn stopped crying.

“He was tangled in some thorns and was pretty shaken up after we cut him loose, so we started rubbing his belly to calm him down.” he continued.

This works by stimulating the competing nerve fibers thereby relieving pain and anxiety. It is no wonder that this fawn stopped crying once he got a belly massage from Justin. The gentle rubbing helped in reducing the pain he experienced and alleviated his stress.

Apparently, the fawn liked his belly rubs so much that he didn’t want Justin to stop!

“Found this baby deer and we’re moving it out of the way so it doesn’t get smashed by a tree and we started rubbing its belly and now when we go put it down it freaks out until we start rubbings its belly again,” a fellow lineman said in the video.

Every time they tried to put him down, the fawn would protest.

He would cry out hysterically but calm down once Justin rubbed his belly again. The look in his eyes was so adorable. He was like a small baby that didn’t want to be away from a parent.

“He’s spoiled we have spoiled a baby deer,” says someone in the video.

The baby deer followed them around wherever they went.

“He followed us around the job site like a lost puppy for about an hour until I noticed a doe watching us from the hillside,” Justin wrote in the description.

As much as the fawn wanted to stay, his mother arrived.

“Assuming this was his mother, I carried him about halfway up the hill while she watched attentively. I sat him down, he ran straight to her, and they walked off together.” Justin continued in the description.

The adorable video gained a lot of love after it was shared. It showed that a simple act of kindness can be appreciated by anyone and helping others is the best thing in the world.
