To get what you want in life sometimes, you have to simply go for it without fear. A little robin is the perfect example of this! The robin wanted some worms more than anything else in the world. And when he saw a man stabbing the dirt with a pitchfork, he knew this was his chance.
The robin swooped in and declared his interest in the worms the gardener was digging up.
The gardener was just stabbing away while this robin was digging through the dirt. When he spotted the little robin he decided he would help him out and began overturning the dirt and poking through it to find worms for the robin to snatch up.
“Ooh, I found one already. Did you see that one?” the gardener says talking to the robin. “There’s one right there.”
He watches the robin hungrily grab up the worms.
“Look look…,” he says pointing to the worm. “Oh beautiful!
For some reason, the robin paid no regard whatsoever to the giant pitchfork that was stabbing the ground beside her.
She was not scared at all… just focused on getting those worms. Eventually, that pitchfork got a little too close.
“I almost killed you,” the gardener said with a laugh.
These two are having an absolute ball together.
“Wow, this is the most fun,” the gardener says.
The gardener actually has a job to do out there but the robin isn’t about to let the gardener get to it.
He’s was enjoying the deal they had going on eating all the worms and tweeting while the gardener does all the work in digging them up. The bird then jumps onto the pitchfork blocking the gardener from doing anything.
“Get down,” he yells to the bird. “Get off! I can’t do anything if you don’t move. Understand? Get down!”
She eventually jumps off and spots another worm.
“She can see it so quick,” the gardener observes. “What a lazy bum you are.”
He says this but he still goes on spoiling the robin.
He picks up two giant worms and hand feeds them to the robin. After that, the robin was pretty full, and decided to take a rest on sit on the fence.
“What a lunch! What a meal,” the happy gardener said. “Now’s she’s resting.”
It’s so cute watching the farmer and the robin interact and have fun together, and it’s clear both made a friend that day! We wonder if the robin ever came back for another meal — if he does, hopefully the farmer will share another adorable video.
