May 24 was a day of double celebration for Deb and Charles Beldo from Sebeka, Minnesota.
Not only did they become grandparents to a baby girl, but they also returned home to an extraordinary surprise.
Their cow, affectionately named Momma Moo, was in labor.

The Beldo family has a rich farming heritage, tracing back to 1882 when their ancestors first settled on the land near Sebeka.
Over the years, they’ve witnessed many animal births, but nothing could have prepared them for what was about to happen.
Deb, with years of experience around cows, was in for the shock of her life.
“I’ve been around cows my whole life, and I’ve never seen anything like it before,” she said.
Earlier in the year, Deb had noticed that Momma Moo was looking unusually large.
They had experienced a set of twins born earlier, but tragically, they didn’t survive the harsh April weather.
Deb thought Momma Moo might be carrying twins, but the reality was far more remarkable.
In an incredible turn of events, Momma Moo gave birth to quadruplets, a rarity with odds of 1 in 11.2 million.
Each of the four calves was born healthy, defying all expectations and surprising everyone on the Beldo farm.
Deb was quick to share this amazing news on Facebook.
She wrote about the “unusual events” of the day, mentioning how Momma Moo looked a bit overwhelmed but managed to clean up all four calves.
Her post captured the hearts of many, rapidly going viral with over 82,000 shares.
“It’s just gone crazy,” Deb remarked about the overwhelming response.
Despite the joy, the Beldos were cautious.
The newborn quadruplets were significantly underweight, each weighing between twenty to twenty-five pounds, compared to the average calf weight of sixty pounds.
The family knew they had to step in and help Momma Moo to ensure the survival of the calves.
By June, the situation looked promising.
Chuck Beldo, in an interview with CBS Minnesota, expressed his optimism.
“I think we are going to make it now. A week ago, I wouldn’t have bet a dime on it,” he said.
He was amazed at how well the quadruplets were doing, a testament to the family’s dedication and care.
The Beldos, who typically raise their animals for beef consumption, found themselves growing attached to the quadruplets.
They planned to name them and were considering keeping them as pets, a heartwarming twist to their usual farming practice.
