Sometimes in life, you have no choice but to result to a life of crime.
If you’re lucky, you’ll have a friend to be your partner in said crimes.
Fifteen-month-old Chloe Cardinal has not one, but two partners in crime.
Her golden retrievers Colby and Bleu.
The unlawful trio do just about everything together.

They love to play, cuddle, and even share snacks… Chloe’s snacks AND the dogs’ kibble.
And let’s not forget the crime.
The three hatched a clever plot to spring Chloe from her room and get some snacks for the hungry doggos.

“We were shocked! How was she able to get out of bed?” Chole’s dad Christ Cardinal said of his dreaciont to discovering the crime. “This is the first time she’s ever made an escape like this. Did she grow?”
Chris and his wife Nina discovered something was amiss after they heard some noise on the baby monitor.

They went to check on their daughter and found her wandering in the hallway.
They were pretty baffled considering the fact that she isn’t usually able to get out of bed on her own.
They have a mesh guard on her bed to prevent her from tumbling out. She’s also too short to reach the doorknob.
The Cardinals decided to investigate and check the video footage from the baby cam.
That’s when they realized how the crime was committed.
Colby and Bleu apparently opened Chloe’s bedroom door and walked right in around 6 a.m.
Colby learned how to open door handles about three years prior. The opportunity finally arose for Colby to use these newfound skills to his advantage.
Now that Chloe could walk around on her own.
If he could get into her room, she could get him some treats. The two dogs lept into Chole’s bed and nudged her until she woke up.
Chloe woke up but wasn’t getting out of bed. That’s when the dogs had to go with Plan B. They grabbed one of her stuffed ducks as bait.
They then ran in and out of the room with it hoping she’d follow them.
But that didn’t really work so they decided to cover her face with kisses until she finally jumps up and out the door.
It’s likely that the dogs were trying to get Chloe to give her some food since she is able to reach their kibble.
The Cardinals thought the trio’s scam was so funny that they decided to post it online where it went viral.
Major publications like Good Morning America picked up the story. That video was viewed more than 2.5 million times on Good Morning America’s YouTube page.
“That was so cute how they busted into her room and licked her then shot back out of her room,” said one commenter.
