When we remember our childhood, we often remember the moments that our parents surprised us by taking us somewhere we weren’t expecting! You get in the car, expecting to go to the grocery store but end up going to the theme park or movies!
While those little moments are rare, they are exciting all the same!
Some hilarious videos on YouTube show this exact thing! One of the most famous examples of this involved the little girl, Chloe, and her sister being told that they weren’t going to school today, there were going to Disneyland!
The resulting memes that were made STILL circulate today.
While little Chloe watches her sister have a meltdown, she seems absolutely nonplussed. The screenshot was taken at this moment and is used today for an absurd amount of hilarious memes! That feeling of thinking one thing and getting the best surprise instead is one that’s hard to beat!

YES! The incredible thing is that we can surprise our pets in the same way! While they may not break down and cry like Lily did in the video or become an internet sensation like Chloe, they react in their own special way.
Most dogs only get in the car to do one of two things.
While every dog-owner is different, most only take their furry friends into the car for a few reasons. The main reason you take your dog in the car is to get them checked out at the vet! As a result, the car is an icon for scary white rooms for dogs.
Crazy enough, dogs usually know if they are going to the vet depending on the route you take them.
My childhood dog knew EXACTLY where he was going based on how we turned when we came to the first turn outside of the neighborhood. If we turned right, it was time for the vet – if we turned left, the world was his oyster.
In a viral video, we see this exact reaction happen with a group of GSP’s!
You might be asking what a “GSP” is. It stands for German Shorthaired Pointer and is a breed of hunting dogs known for their incredible looks! In a recent video, we see a whole PACK of GSP’s lose their mind when they realize they aren’t going to the vet.
While it’s tough to count, it looks like there are 4+ dogs in the car, and they are about to lose their minds.
During the trip, their owner lets them know what is about to happen. It’s not the vet – IT’S THE PARK! When the dogs realize they are going to the park to have a romp, they all start howling like a pack of wolves!
Despite the noise, their owner takes it with a substantial measure of patience.
Even though they are still losing their minds, the man in the car is chill and smiling all the way through. The dogs really can’t be blamed; they are just saying thank you! Finally, they arrive, and it’s time to play!
