Quarantined sportscaster Andrew Cotter is at it again with yet another hilarious running commentary on his adorably competitive Lab doggos, Mabel and Olive.
But, instead a glimpse into the high-stakes world of kibble-eating races…
…this time around the BBC announcer is giving us the smackdown on THE doggy match of the century: Game of Bones!
You might remember a few weeks ago when the famously bored Scotsman got a little bit stir crazy from being unemployed and stuck at home. He decided to film a video of his pups, Mabel and Olive, racing to finish their bowl of puppy chow.
Now, a couple of pooches munching on their food is not something that would normally pique people’s interest.
However, Andrew’s funny comments and cheeky British humor made us fall in love with something that would otherwise have been totally lame and mundane!
None of us knew just how badly we needed to see an eating competition between two dogs until this bloke came along and showed us exactly what we’ve been missing.
In fact, Andrew’s viral commentary of his pups racing to finish their food blew up Twitter with over half a million views within the first few hours alone! Ever since then, everyone has been begging for more sporting action from the Internet’s latest fur-celebs!
Too much pressure. You can see they’re pretty affected by it. pic.twitter.com/WLmqoXEbdQ

Thankfully Andrew listened to what all of us marooned folks wanted, and he recently dropped a brand new video to keep us uplifted and entertained.
Just like the first one, this latest clip has all the heart-pounding drama and none of the high ticket prices of cancelled sporting events.

“Some sports are slower. More about strategy.”
The video starts with Olive and Mabel in the final rounds of the chew toy grab.
Olive, the black Lab, can be seen tightly clenching a plastic bone in her mouth while she faces off with Mabel, who is pretending not to care that she’s clearly the loser in the Game of Bones.
“A glance at the youngster who shows little emotion, but her mind will be …empty.”
But, don’t place your bets on a winner just yet, because Mabel and Olive’s adorable showboating isn’t actually over!
Just when you think you know who will be crowned the ultimate Chew Toy Queen, the [tongue-in-cheek] shocker of an ending will “steal” your heart and make you slobber with envy.
This is truly the saddest image in sporting history.
Aw, poor Olive, she almost had it made! But, her overconfidence in the final seconds cost her the coveted bone when she let her guard down.
As soon as Olive’s eyes were off the prize, Mabel made a mad dash to win the title!
“4th place in the Olympic final by one-thousandth of a second.”
Some folks are up in arms about Andrew’s final comment at the very end of the match (you’ll have to watch the clip to find out what that is).
When someone on Twitter said that it cost him re-tweet, Andrew replied:
“Understandable. Although she got a biscuit shortly after to make amends.”
It was all in good fun! As you can see, they’re still one big happy family.
Andrew’s videos of Mabel and Olive have made everyone realize that it’s totally possible to find humor in absolutely anything…and nothing!
We can only hope that this second video is the continuation of an ongoing series. In the meantime, be sure to check out the video below to see how Mabel’s patient strategy helped her win Game of Bones gold!
