Dogs are sweet, adorable, and also a bit weird. This is mostly because they can’t always explain why they’re doing certain things to us. We just have to guess why they decide to do things like sitting in a toilet bowl or grabbing the biggest stick they can find.
One dog trainer helped explain a few mysteries about dogs in a helpful video:
Still, there are some behaviors that simply can’t be explained. They just have to be witnessed! Check out the 13 photos below to see what we mean.
1. King of the Jungle
Meet the new King of the Jungle. Not sure how this adorable husky climbed up there. Hopefully, there’s someone waiting down below to catch this pup’s fall from his coconut throne.
2. Dog.exe has crashed
Not sure how comfortable this lounging position is but this cutie looks pretty happy in it. And if he’s happy, that’s all that’s important!
3. A little smile
So dashing! Wonder where this German Shepherd pup learned to smile like that? That cute smile can definitely earn him some treats.
4. Meditating pup
This dog is contemplating life while enjoying his newfound day spa. He looks like he’s deep in mediation, and we’re sure he’s chanting a mantra about being a good boy.
5. Bread lover
We understand this adorable pup’s love for carbs! It looks like he’s saying, “Mom, can you please open this? Please. I promise I’ll just have one slice.”
6. Sitting in his throne
Why dog, why? Out of all the places to sit at, you choose the filthiest one. The happy and proud expression on his face makes this even more hilarious.
7. Doga expert
Check out this expert dog yogi. From down dog to chaturanga to plank. Looks like this canine has mastered the art of yoga.
8. The grass is always greener
So sweet! This dog brought the biggest pile of grass patch he could find as a gift for his human. We’re sure his paw-rents will put the gift somewhere special.
9. Hey boo boo, let’s go get us a pic-a-nic basket!
The person who took this photo explained the hilarious story behind it:
“My friend works at a dog grooming spa, she turned around and saw this happening….”
10. An offering for the big dogs
This dog wants to make new friends with the horses. And so, he brought them his most prized possession: a truly gigantic stick. While it might not be exactly what the horses are looking for, we’re sure they appreciate the gesture.
11. Making the bed
Not sure how this dog made his bed so perfectly but this is the sweet sight his human came home to. How adorable, and he looks so cozy.
12. Tennis ball buddies
They fell asleep chewing on the same tennis ball together. This truly is so sweet, but we’re sure once they wake up, the games will begin again.
