Dropping off our “fur-babies” can be a scary thing. Traveling is usually quite the hassle, especially if you have a pet! You need to figure out if you are taking them with you or getting them housed by a friend or kennel.
Even though you know they will probably be ok, it doesn’t make leaving them any easier!
It truly is like leaving a kid! You can plan and pick out the very best kennels, but your mind won’t ever be at rest until you actually go pick them up again. At the end of the day, it is something that we all have to do. If we aren’t planning on taking our dogs with us everywhere we go (although we might like to), we need to find a good kennel near us to take care of our friends.
The good part is that there are some really good kennels around.
Since kennels know the anxiety that can accompany dog and owner alike, they do their best to reassure both their tenet and the owners. In some of the latest kennels, they even have internet cameras so you can tune in to your dog whenever you want and make sure they are doing ok!
One kennel decided to do something hilarious to show the owners that everything was going ok.
Go Fetch Dog Daycare and Boarding is based out of Ohio and recently did something quite hilarious to show that their pups were all doing well. With forty dogs present, they got them all to look at the camera and take a group photo!
Somehow, someway, they actually got a great photo!
If you have EVER tried to take a photo of your own dog, you know how unwilling they can be. It’s almost like they are trying to see how many photos they can get you to take. In the photo, they have forty dogs, all facing the same direction somehow!
Tara, an employee at the kennel, explained how she did it.
Funny enough, she didn’t do anything special! All the dogs had gathered around the gate when she came out to say hello, and she saw an opportunity. She simply said, “Hey guys! Look at me!” and snapped the photo!
When she posted the photo on her Facebook, it immediately became a hit.
Honestly, what’s not to love about it? It is a group photo of a bunch of incredibly cute pups ALL looking in the right direction. Even better, it looks like some of them are smiling! Take a quick look, and you can see that a few dogs look they were ready and posed for the photo-op.
The best part? People have decided to photoshop the image!
Some of the best ones take you a minute to even find the dog! In the famous Oscar photo with Ellen a few years ago, someone took one of the dogs and placed them on one of the people’s heads. From what it looks like, it was originally Kevin Spacey!
All of the dogs seem to get along perfectly well together, too.
Thankfully, none of them seem to be diva’s and are happy to share the photo opportunity! All that’s left is for them to take up a career in modeling! Maybe Tara can get them to focus then, too!
Send this to your dog-loving friends!
