Get ready for the side eye.
Just you wait when we get back. That’s what this good looking Boxer would have said to his owner if he could speak English. He is not happy judging by that rigid stare. His owner came to pick him up from the vet and well, it was probably a surprise visit as most visits to the vet are.
The moment his human walks in, the dog was already up on his hind legs staring holes through the glass that may have been the only thing shielding his human from laser vision. Not funny, human.
That squared jaw matches his square look.
His human tries to move from right to left, the camera trained on the dog, to see how this Boxer will react. Well he does react in a way. The dog’s eyes follow the camera from one corner to the other without his head moving. Just a sharp, piercing gaze that shows he means business.
One more time. This time from left to right, and even backwards. Those doggy eyes are locked onto the camera. He is unwavering, like the way a pro wrestler stares at his booked opponent. He has the muscles too.
Even viewers got in on it,
“That’s not staring, that’s straight up burning holes into your soul.”
His owner even squats a bit to let the camera dip just to see if his dogs follows the movement. But this is an American Boxer. That handsome, buff look has its perks. The dog never lowers his head, puffing his chest out to emphasize his annoyance.
It’s all about the eyes for this pooch.
“Legends said the dog owner didn’t make it home that day.”
Says another viewer.
Who knows why he had to visit the vet or what the vet did to him? No one likes surprise visits to hospitals. No one wants to be in the mercy of doctors unless they really need it. By the looks of it, this Boxer is in tip top shape!
Unless it was just a regular checkup.
We’re guessing he was told that they would just go out for a drive and maybe buy some treats to snack on. Oldest trick in the book. Someone tell him his human only wants to be sure of his health so they can spend more years together. It’s all for you, bud!
This handsome breed may look imposing at first but look into those eyes and you will see a gentle sweetness there. They are energetic and playful, willing to respond just to please their humans. Boxers are alert, intelligent, and most importantly, fearless. Just look at this guy.
There is no fear.
Boxers are extremely loyal yet also headstrong. They boast of great courage and strength and wow does this dog know it. You can’t help but wonder what was going on in his head. Or what words he wanted to throw at his human. That visit to the vet got him bamboozled.
It’s payback time.
His owner better lock the door of the bedroom tonight. This dog’s going to get him back soon and no way is his human going to see it coming. The best plan of attack is to cuddle up and get some affection after all. And perhaps a treat.
