Ah…France. Such a gorgeous country, known for many of the world’s iconic sites. There, you’ll find the Eiffel Tower, the Latin Quarter, the Cathedral of Notre Dame, the Louvre, and of course, amazing vineyards, among others.
But France, specifically Paris, is known for something else — being “The City of Love.” With so much to offer, people from around the world visit France to get engaged or to celebrate a wedding anniversary. This is also a gorgeous place for honeymooners. But one dog proved that love in France isn’t just for humans.
It’s a perfect setting
One man took his two Malamutes for a walk in France. Let’s just say things went a little differently than expected. That’s why he decided to upload a two-minute video so people could see for themselves what unfolded. Although one of his dogs seemed somewhat lackadaisical, the other one, a smart-looking fellow named Phil, was a different story.
Overlooking the Eiffel Tower
The video begins with the owner and his two dogs standing on an observation deck overlooking the Eifel Tower. Within just a few seconds, a beautiful woman walks past but then stops. She pulls out her phone to capture a photo of, well, not the man, but his dogs. She appears most interested in Phil.
Phil has something to say about that
Among dog breeds, the Malamute is a talker. While the woman snaps Phil’s photo, he lets out the cutest howling sound. That’s when his owner says, “speak” followed by the command to sit down, which he promptly follows. As this adorable pup continues to “talk,” other women nearby notice.
Okay, now he’s just showing off
Phil wants a treat. But before giving him one, his owner tells him to “wait.” So, he does, only for a few seconds before making his cute howling sound again. Not only is Phil handsome but also very obedient. It’s no wonder women start turning their attention toward him. This is the “City of Love” after all.
Phil has all kinds of tricks up his…um, sleeve
At one point, Phil’s owner places a dog treat on his nose, again telling him to “wait.” You can hear several of the ladies nearby giggling and cooing over him as he does exactly what he’s told. Several of them take out their phones, eager to grab photos of this pup.
Darn…he missed it
Although Phil tried his best to flip the treat in the air and catch it in his mouth, he missed. That’s okay, even the most debonair guy doesn’t get it right all the time. After sneezing and then doing another cute howl, his owner tosses him a snack, which he catches. Phil is making a really good impression on all the ladies.
He’s got style
After putting in a lot of hard work to impress the women, it’s time for Phil and his owner to return home. But first, he has a beret placed on his head. Hey, if you’re going to flirt with women, you have to look your best…and he does.
At least for that day, Phil says Au revoir. I’m sure his owner will take him back to this spot another day so he can again enjoy women fawning over him. You can see Phil in action by watching the video below.
