Country music isn’t for everyone, but for the people who love it, they REALLY love it. There is just something about those twangy ballads that hit you right in the heart! Summer is a great time for country music – it’s warm out and every other song is about having a beer!

While Chris isn’t insanely popular, he does have one of the most devoted fans on the planet! His music is described as:

his “authentic cowboy blend of country music has given a voice to fans who have felt left behind in the age of pop country. With a sound reminiscent to country songs of the 90’s, Chris has drawn influence from artists like Chris Ledoux, George Strait, and Merle Haggard.” – CP Country

Have you guessed his biggest fan yet?

You might be tempted to think it is his daughter or his mom or something like that – you would be close, you just have the wrong species! It’s actually his dog! Syd is an Australian cattle dog, the perfect dog for a country cowboy-country-singer!

Filmed in the car, Chris decided to capture his dog’s love for country music on camera. The two are driving with Chris driving and Syd hanging out in the passenger seat. When Chris hits the radio, we get to see what it’s all about.

Look at You Girl is a country classic from Chris LeDoux! LeDoux is a country icon who had many talents. In true renascence man fashion, he was a singer, a rodeo rider, AND a bronze sculptor!

Chris LeDoux was an American country music singer-songwriter, bronze sculptor, and hall of fame rodeo champion. During his career LeDoux recorded 36 albums which have sold more than six million units in the United States as of January 2007. – Wikipedia

It looks like Syd might take after LeDoux, too! She has more talents than just ranching!

Syd doesn’t just like listening to country music – she likes to sing along! As the song keeps playing, Syd throws back her head and howls to the moon like a wolf-dog-country singer-hybrid! For a dog, she is remarkably on time with the music.

Whenever the moment hits her, Syd can’t help but give the song all she has.

Could she use a bit of work on her tone? Probably. If we’re honest, however, we’ve probably heard humans who sound worse than Syd does. It’s almost like she knows the big parts and goes all out for those moments in the song.

As it ends, she gets a well-deserved pat on the head.

You can tell that this is a case of a man who truly loves his dog. They are obviously friends and love to sing with each other. The power of a good singing buddy isn’t to be underestimated!
