Heroes do have hearts of gold. This gallant Golden Retriever proved his when he rescued this stray kitten who looked be very unhealthy and near death. This dashing hero knew he had to act and decided to take this kitten to his home where it would be safe and cared for. Cape on and away!
No one is sure where this gallant Golden found the stray kitten but it sure wasn’t in a good spot. It was no place for a kitten to be. The Golden Retriever must have known, sensed, that the kitten was in imminent danger and would not survive for much longer given the state it was in.
What’s a blooming hero to do? He picks it up with his mouth and runs home.
It is a bit difficult to watch seeing the kitten bouncing as the dog runs. But this hero is doing the right thing. He’s got the adrenaline going and he will not fail. Look at his determination!
Cue the Mission Impossible theme here. The good dog runs straight in to his house and lays the weak kitten down on a soft blanket. All he can hope for now is that his owner will do the job and actually save the kitten’s life.
Now we know where he gets it from! The owner grabs a bottle and starts feeding the kitty. Poor thing is so hungry! T
he kitten chugs it all down and you can bet it would finish another bottle if it could.
Where’s the golden crusader? By the kitten’s side of course. He’s not about to take his eyes off his vulnerable friend. What a hero!
Well now that the kitty is fed and seemingly out of harm’s way, it needs to stay warm. And who better to provide that warmth than his golden avenger? Cuddle time!
They hit it off too. They have bonded and are now inseparable. This Golden Retriever will always have his eye out for his little friend. You would feel responsible for someone you’ve rescued too.
And look at the progress made! The kitten is trying to walk on those tiny legs and that dashing golden hero is still close by just watching it take its steps. And if the kitten falls, he will be there to help it back on its feet! Paws, sorry.
