After being separated for two long years, Jodie and her fur parents got reunited, and their reunion is so special and memorable! As soon as Jodie steps off the airplane, she immediately ran to her pet owners, Gregory and Victoria!
Gregory and Victoria Hudler left Jodie to a family member as Victoria gave birth to her first child.
Both Jodie’s parents are veterans and when Victoria is about to give birth, they left her to a family member trusting him/her to take really good care of their emotional support dog, Jodie. Little did they know, this family member sell-off Jodie without their consent.
When they heard about this, they tried their best to look for Jodie
Jodie is a 10-month-old Australian Shepherd and she was enlisted as Victoria’s emotional support dog when the veteran was assigned at New Bern, New Carolina.
So when the couple received a call from a Tennessee sanctuary, they were over the moon!
Gregory and Victoria were so happy and delighted when the sanctuary was able to recognize Jodie because of her microchip! But as to how their emotional support dog reached there, it is still unknown.
Wings of Rescue helped the veteran couple reunite with their fur baby
Wings of Rescue, as its name implies, is an organization that helps lost and stranded pets are rescued by flying them from their disaster homes and/or overcrowded shelters to their forever homes. When the animal shelter reached out to Wings of Rescue, they didn’t hesitate to help Jodie be reunited with her parents – free of charge! The organization went out of its way to pick up Jodie. Kudos to the organization!
Jodie, together with 130 various canines, were rescued and brought back to New Jersey!
The couple got emotional when they saw Jodie get off of the airplane
As one of the volunteers of Wings of Rescue said while taking this reunion video, “reunited and it feels so good!”
You can also see how happy Jodie was because she wagged her tail so many times and kissed and hugged Victoria and Gregory. Indeed, reuniting with your pet after a long time never felt so good!
It’s been a long journey, and everyone’s happy to see them all back together.
This is made possible with all the help of the animal welfare centers and animal rescue controls who worked hand-in-hand to bring Jodie back home.
You better watch the video below to witness this touching reunion!
