Do you have a dog at home? Although it’s been written about a near-infinite number of times, there’s no end to the love and amusement that a furry companion can bring into our lives. Beyond just keeping us company, dogs can be intelligent and compassionate friends as well. Although they can be there for us during times of emotional distress, they’re also so fun to play games with during our downtime. Generally speaking, the kind of games we play are things like fetch.
Still, one dog owner had a game in mind that was a little bit more diabolical in mind.
It all started with a pet instagram account called dunkinandkirby.
As you may have guessed, Dunkin and Kirby are two adorable dogs that are best friends. They’re also very popular on the internet, with more than 31,000 followers on Instagram (though they also have a YouTube channel). Still, the dogs got another boost of popularity when a video of poor Dunkin went viral.
The video shows a simple game of Dunkin playing “guess which hand” with his owner.
As it starts, the owner puts out two balled fists in the frame facing directly in front of Dunkin.
After a moment’s consideration, Dunkin lifts a paw and puts it on the left hand. The owner opens the hand up, revealing one piece of doggie kibble on the inside—not bad, right? Needless to say, Dunkin eagerly eats the piece up. Still, it then comes time to reveal what was in the other hand.
Unfortunately for Dunkin, in the other hand was a whole lot more pieces of doggie kibble.
As a testament to Dunkin’s training, he only sniffs the hand and then stops, looking up at the camera in heartbreaking disappointment.
To the owner’s credit, the video is hilariously edited and has been viewed nearly 100,000 times! We can only hope that after the cameras were off, Dunkin got to eat the rest of the food as well for being such a good boy. Beyond just this clip, though, Dunkin seems to have made something of a reputation for himself for always being adorably grumpy.

In all though, it’s clear that Dunkin and Kirby have a great time together.
And the two have an incredible time working together on all kinds of creative tricks and games!
Needless to say, following this account is basically a must if you’re a fan at all of pet Instagram accounts. Though we feel for Dunkin for not getting all the dog food he could’ve, we’re glad that we were able to meet this adorable little guy (along with hist best buddy, Kirby).
