There’s no doubt that dogs are smart and intelligent creatures. But sometimes, there are things that they just don’t understand. Like this adorable Labradoodle who doesn’t understand why two twin babies won’t play fetch with her.
Labradoodles are known for being outgoing, playful, and cheerful dogs. They are always up for snuggles, but they’d also love to play fetch all day if they could. They are also excellent family dogs that are great with children.
One family’s Labradoodle was filmed trying her best to get her human baby sisters to play with her. There’s just one problem — they’re babies! They don’t know how to crawl or feed themselves, let alone throw a ball for a game of fetch!
The video is hilarious sub-titled with the thoughts of the persistent but confused dog. “Here ya go…come on, let’s play!”
The adorable twin babies are perched in their rocking seats in the backyard while dad films them. The babies are nothing but smiles, and it’s clear that they are very happy. Plus, they have a fluffy Labradoodle who watches over them.
The Labradoodle notices that the babies look happy and nice, so she wants to play a game of fetch. First, the dog places their favorite ball in the lap of one of the babies. She walks away in hopes that the baby will throw the ball as mom and dad do.
After placing her ball in one of the twin’s laps, she doesn’t understand why they aren’t throwing it. That’s when she decides to see if the other baby might be interested in a game of fetch.
“Come on! Throw the ball! I’m waiting!” the dog’s “thoughts” read in the sub-titles.
The patient but persistent Labradoodle takes a seat behind the little babies in hopes that good behavior might be rewarded with a throw of the ball. But, of course, the babies just sat in their rocking seats, content as can be.
“Well…maybe this baby will throw it. Pleeeease. Please…Please…Please…” The sweet dog just tries and tries her best to get these babies to play with her.
The Labradoodle starts to put her thinking cap on and begins to brainstorm about how she can get one of these babies to throw the ball. She realizes that people throw balls with their hands, so the smart girl tries to place the ball directly in one of the twin baby’s hands.
After a lot of persistence with zero results, the Labradoodle’s game of fetch wasn’t going to happen with the babies. But thankfully, their owner is always up for playtime with their fur baby! The sweet interaction below is so cute that it’s been viewed almost 2 million times.
