You leave them alone for long enough, and even the most well behaved of canines is bound to get into some sort of trouble eventually.
Usually, that trouble involves digging holes where holes should not be (such as in the sofa, for one example), or they end up chewing shoes or other items that we would prefer not to have teeth marks in.
There is no denying that our canine companions love to dig and chew.
But sometimes, they go a step further and just leave us rolling on the floor in laughter and trying to catch our breath.
Ben Campbell decided to get a set of fake dentures to keep himself – and his friends on the internet – entertained while he stayed at home to help flatten the curve for the coronavirus.
He thought it was just a little bit of harmless fun.
Ben’s dog, Thomas, was in a mischievous mood that day and decided that he wanted to play with the new toy as well. After all, why should his owner have all the fun?
So what did he do?
He stole them right off the table.
But instead of chewing them like most dogs would, Thomas had other even bigger plans for his toothy acquisition.
He managed to get the set of fake dentures into position in his mouth after a few chomps, and then he started smiling – a lot. In fact, he was smiling bigger and more widely than any dog had ever smiled before.
It might have had a little something to do with the fake dentures.
Ben couldn’t stop laughing. He knew he had to share what had happened.
Once he mostly had control of himself again, Ben started recording the hilarious moment for the world to see. You can hear him in the background, still trying to hold back his laughter as the denture-wearing pup grins for the camera.
He posted the video on YouTube along with the following description:
“I got some fake teeth for some quarantine comic relief and well… Thomas stole them off of the table.”
“Now that’s a new way to make the mail carriers fall over with laughter when they arrive to drop off mail or packages , no more being afraid of dogs it’s turning into being afraid of passing out of laughter LOL.”
