There’s nothing we love more than a good animal lookalike, and we’ve yet to find one that hasn’t been totally adorable!
In the past, if you owned an animal that resembled some kind of celebrity, the world past your next-door neighbor probably wouldn’t have known about it. But now, thanks to social media, a new online celebrity titled ‘petfluencers’ are on the rise. So if your pet is super cute, quirky, or resembles a celebrity, then darling, they were made to be a petfluencer!
So when a dog from Tokyo, Japan, first graced the earth with his adorable Mickey Mouse-like ears, his owners instantly knew that he’d be the perfect candidate for becoming an online celebrity. The 7-year-old Maltese×Papillon mix is named Goma, though thanks to his perfectly round ears that stick out at the perfect right angle, he’s been nicknamed “Mickey Mouse Dog” after one of Disney’s most-loved characters.
Goma shot to fame on Instagram and now has over 114k followers on marupgoma_c. But despite his newfound fame (not to mention out-of-this-world cuteness), Goma is still pretty much your typical dog. His Instagram pics mainly consist of him doing regular doggie things – like sleeping, eating, and going on walks – all while looking totally adorable, may we add. So without further ado, we thought we’d share our favorite pics of Goma here for you all to enjoy!
1. The perfect peach

Goma seems to be having a tough time deciding which peach he should pick, and his little concentration face is sweet enough to melt anyone’s heart. Scroll through the adorable snaps to find out which peach he eventually goes for, before he gets his much-anticipated reward at the end! We love how he tucks his little ears back as he eats!
2. “Am I as pretty as the flowers, mom?”
We simply cannot get over the cuteness of this snap! Goma is looking as pretty as a picture as he poses next to some vibrant red flowers. How can anybody be so photogenic? Someone get this dog a modeling contract!
3. New toy time
Going shopping with young children is every mom’s worst nightmare because they want absolutely everything! But somehow, a shopping trip with a dog is so much fun – especially when they’re as cute as Goma! We think we’d just have to buy him whatever he wanted.
4. Walks with the sis
When you’ve only got little legs, dog walks can get super tiring! But luckily for these pampered pooches, they have their own special doggy pushchair to help them around when their legs get too tired for walking. Oh, how the other half lives!
5. Vacation Mode
We think that if we were walking behind this family and saw Goma’s sweet little head popping out of the bag like that, our hearts would feel like bursting with the cuteness of it all! We can’t wait to see what adorable pictures Goma’s owners post next!
