It’s no secret that pets can be a bit impatient sometimes, and that was clearly the case with this adorable Airedale Terrier who just couldn’t wait until his owner finally returned to the car. Melissa Bailey saw the cute dog sitting in the driver’s seat of the car, with full access to the car horn – and we’re pretty sure everyone in the neighborhood could hear it.
Melissa immediately grabbed her smartphone to film the funny dog sitting in the front of the car, together with a well-behaved sibling who was just silently sitting in the back. Their owner left the two dogs in his car at a parking lot of a pizza shop in Altoona, Pennsylvania. It was a chilly day with temperatures of only 50 degrees, so these two pups weren’t in danger of overheating.

Nonetheless, it looks like the older dog wasn’t too keen on staying alone in the car for too long. The owner went into the store and the Airedale Terrier jumped right in the driver’s seat mere seconds later.
It didn’t take long before the pup actually started to honk the horn.
He honks the car horn for several seconds, then takes a quick break and then finally unleashes a very lengthy honk.
“Apparently, he wants his papa to get out of the store”, Melissa laughs.
While filming the whole thing, another bystander actually thought that it was Melissa herself was creating some car horn chaos. After telling him that it was, in fact, a dog who was honking the car horn, the bystander was so shocked and thought that it was a man in a dog costume.

“I saw four dogs pull into the parking (with their dad) as I was walking to my car. It was about 50 degrees outside on this November day in Pennsylvania. I told their human that they sure looked happy. I decided to take a picture and as I was taking it, the one dog must have become tired of waiting. After the long honk, a man was walking to his car when he let out on more quick beep. The man looked at me as though it was me. I opened my window and told him it was the dog. He was shocked. He said he thought it was a man in a dog costume, haha,” she wrote in the video caption.
The video Melissa posted on YouTube has quickly gone viral with over one million views. It’s clear that some pets just don’t like waiting! Check out the hilarious footage below.
