For some people, it is impossible to lie. Their good nature prevents them from knowingly deceiving another, but thanks to their honesty, they can sleep easy at night.
There’s no better feeling than a clear conscience and knowing you’ve done nothing wrong.
But sometimes accidents happen, and admitting that the accident is your fault can be really hard.
That is what one German Shepherd named Lady experienced.
Lady caused quite a mess when her owner was away. When her owner confronts her about it, she has a very obvious tell.
“Did you do it?” the owner asks, trying to prompt Lady to be truthful.
The dog tries to keep her poker face, but it quickly crumbles under her guilty conscience.
When her poker face gives out, Lady tries to be cute. Well, she succeeds in being cute in my opinion, but doesn’t mean she’s not going to get in big trouble!
She knows that there is a firm scolding coming her way, and she tries to avoid it by giving her owner a smile, wagging her tail and bending her ears back.
And as the video goes on, you can see Lady practically sweating over the trouble she’s going to get in.
Meanwhile, her feline sibling is all to happy to see Lady get reprimanded. The video has been viewed over 2.4 million times on Facebook, and many were quick to point out the cat’s sly yet gleeful expression:
Poor Lady. She clearly doesn’t have a partner in crime through her cat sibling.
Hopefully she’ll learn from her mistake and go back to being a good girl.
