They’ll suck up to us, beg, and maybe even steal. Our pets will do just about anything for a delicious treat. Except, Pituco. His brown-nosing days are over. Humans… Pituco don’t need no stinking humans to get his treats anymore.

This brilliant pup has figured a way to get his tasty treat fix all on his own.

Begging for treats while having to be a good boy, Pituco ain’t got time for that. He figured out that he doesn’t need to obey in order to get what he wants from humans. He can bypass humans altogether and directly go after what he wants.

Pituco, who lives in Paraí, Brazil, discovered that he can just go down to the local animal clinic, pick out want he wants, and take it home with him.

So, every day he walks down to Agro Pet’s attached pet store and loads up on his favorite doggie treats.

“Everybody knows Pituco,” a vet at Agro Pets told The Dodo. “His food is on the top shelf, so we have to hand it to him. He barks until we do.”

It’s really something else to see this cute little guy running errands all on his own. Here he is making a snack run.

Pituco isn’t the selfish type though. Sometimes he’ll even bring home some cat food or birdseed for his brothers and sisters. These special orders have to be called in by Pituco’s human parents.

Agro Pets is always happy to oblige. Pituco, however, doesn’t get everything for free. Agro Pets tallies everything up and adds it to Pituco’s parents’ tab.

The video Agro Pets posted of Pituco’s solo treat run on Facebook didn’t take long to go viral and has more than 1 million views. People absolutely fell in love with this little guy. Here he is getting the superstar treatment after his big viral break.

“Impressive that he brought home and didn’t open on the way home,” one Facebook user wrote.

“Yummy,” said another.

I mean, we’ve all probably fantasized about having our dogs run errands for us when we’re being lazy at one time or another.

Pituco is living proof that you might actually be able to make that happen. Well, probably as long as treats are involved.
