Dogs are a lot smarter than we give them credit for.
They also love to be pet.
One stray dog in the Turkish province of Izmir decided to use her smarts so that she could get all the pets that she could ever want.
She found her very own petting machine. A human-free petting machine.
Well, sort of.
She uses the brushes at the local car wash as a petting machine.
Linda, a German shepherd mix, visits an automatic car wash at a local gas station several times each week.
The clever dog waits patiently for a car to go through the car wash.
Once a vehicle passes through the machine, it gets soaped up and wiped clean by those big red and yellow fluffy rollers.
That’s when Linda jumps behind the car and gets ready for her pet down.
Linda lines up perfectly with the scrubbing brushes.
She knows exactly where to stand so that the brushes give her the perfect back rub.
She adjusts herself and it hits the perfect spot.
First, she gets a butt rub.
Then she fully immerses herself in between the brush for a full back and body rub.
And it’s absolutely adorable because you can tell she loves it so much.
She starts kicking her leg out and seems to have a huge grin on her face.
Poor little cutie probably doesn’t get any pets being a stray dog and all.
A video of Linda getting her scrub on was posted to Twitter by Clint Falin where it went viral.
It’s been viewed more than 4.6 million times, like more than 379,000 times, and retweeted 9o,000 times.
So now Linda is not only famous and well-loved in her village but all across the world on social media.
People on social media are going crazy over Linda.
“Look at her right hind leg go. Awww I can tell those brushes hit the spot,” said one Twitter user.
“What I really like here is the owners/operators let her use it. Animal lovers and likers come in all stripes,” said another.
“Clever girl but who told her about the free doggy spa? How did she know she’d like it? Why isn’t she afraid of the noise and the big red and yellow monster coming towards her?” and another.
