Maggie is an adorable Shih-Tzu with tons of personality. She lives on Long Island with her family, including her dad and her big sister Eunice.
“She is the cutest! She has quite a personality,” Eunice told The Dodo. “She loves to cuddle but is also a yapper at times. She’s very mischievous!”
Maggie can be mischievous at times—and in summer 2018, she proved just how sneaky she can be.
One day, Maggie’s dad decided to take an afternoon nap on the couch. He wears dentures, and they were bothering him a bit that day. So, he took them out and placed them in a glass next to the couch.
When he woke up, he reached for his dentures. To his surprise, they were gone!
“He thought maybe he had left them in the bathroom,” Eunice said. “When they weren’t there, he went searching downstairs and found Maggie under my living room table.”
Maggie looked up at her dad and smiled. Maggie’s dad couldn’t help but laugh when he saw his pup’s new grin.
After he finished laughing, Eunice’s dad sent her a picture. Then, it was Eunice’s turn to laugh until she cried.
“He sent me a picture and explained what had happened and I was in literal tears,” Eunice said.
Eunice’s dad took his dentures back and gave them a very good washing. We’re sure he’ll keep them out of Maggie’s reach in the future!
Eunice decided to share the hilarious incident on Twitter. It quickly went viral, receiving over 50,000 likes and 20,000 retweets.

Twitter users loved the photos of Maggie! One Twitter user turned the photo into a hilarious, relatable meme.
It also turns out Maggie isn’t the only pup who’s stolen her owner’s dentures. One Twitter user shared a photo of her pup with her sister’s dentures!
Maggie also has an Instagram page where Eunice shares denture-free photos of Maggie. Even in these photos, you can tell she has a big personality.
Eunice also shared this rather suspicious photo of Maggie sitting on top of the couch. We have to wonder, is she plotting how to steal her dad’s dentures again?
