A lot of people enjoy getting out of the house to attend special events. Especially when listening to an orchestra, this provides them with an opportunity to sit back, relax, and unwind. Whether the music is vibrant or mellow, it doesn’t matter.

Vienna Chamber Orchestra

While there are numerous orchestras around the world, perhaps one of the best-known is the Vienna Chamber Orchestra. Originally founded in 1946, this Austrian orchestra is still going strong. Not only do the musicians perform in Vienna Konzerthaus but they also go on tour.

An evening out

In 2017, people headed to the theater to listen to the Vienna Chamber Orchestra. On stage were professionally-dressed musicians preparing to perform. The soft lighting in the theater made everything look and feel magical.

A traditional performance…

…at first. Within seconds of when the orchestra started to play, people noticed something odd to the left of the stage. Although the audience knew what they were seeing, they couldn’t grasp how it was possible.

Yes, it’s a dog

And a beautiful yellow Labrador at that. As a large pup, it wasn’t hard to miss. Without hesitation, the dog slowly made its way closer to the center of the stage where the director was standing.

Everyone notices

By this time, everyone in the orchestra also notices the dog. Although they’re all professional musicians, you can see a few heads turn. They had to be just as shocked as the audience was.

Didn’t miss a note

Remember, this is the Vienna Chamber Orchestra, one of the best in the world. So, even with a large pup walking in front of them, every member continued to play. Throughout the song, they didn’t miss a single note.

Classical music with a side of humor

Here, you have a world-renowned orchestra flawlessly playing classical music. Yet at times, you can hear people in the audience burst out laughing. After all, it’s not every day you got to hear an orchestra play and see a dog make itself at home on stage.

But it gets better

Apparently, this dog is a huge fan of orchestra music. He finally lays down. Along with people in the audience, members of the orchestra can’t help but smile. This is a real treat and something that’ll probably never happen again. The looks on their faces are priceless.

Perfectly content

Without a care in the world, the dog just lies there enjoying the music. And since he’s not doing any harm, they allow him to stay. For those who attended this performance, they got a special treat.

A minute of bliss

We don’t have any idea just how long this pup remained on stage with the musicians but he was there for at least a minute. During that time, he became the highlight of the show. Of course, the music was fantastic but the addition of the dog made it even more special.
