Dad was just sitting at his own table. Minding his own business while his dog Harvey sat across from him. Then dad hears someone at the door. He answers the door and finds a strange white poodle holding a suitcase at the door.
Dad then looks at Harvey for answers. Harvey didn’t want to just start explaining it to dad.
He wanted it to be a happy surprise. But words wouldn’t do Harve’s story justice. He knew it was better to show dad what he had been up to rather than tell him.
So, he pressed play and let his dad watch a movie about his secret love life.
It all started with Harvey taking a chance and giving speed dating a whirl.
He met with several other women but didn’t feel a connection with any of them.
That was until SHE came into the room. She was breathtaking. Harvey couldn’t take his eyes off the posh pup named Harmony.
And the feeling was mutual. It was love at first sight.
After that first speed date, they found out that they had a lot in common. They went on many other dates to enjoy activities they both enjoy.
They went to the movies. They took a yoga class together. Harmony even let him paint her.
Harvey and Harmony also had a Bonnie and Clyde-type thing going on.
They broke into a museum so that they could steal a giant dinosaur bone for the thrill of it.
They went on to enjoy a romantic picnic together where Harvey proposed to Harmony with a rhinestone-encrusted collar.
Their relationship was consummated that night in the back of a vintage car.
Though things got pretty steamy in the back of that car, it was still a very romantic evening.
After the movie, dad was less confused about why Harmony was at the door.
Harvey was asking if his girl could move in with them.
Reluctantly, dad agreed and let Harmony into the door. But he was totally unprepared for what was about to happen next.
Trailing behind Harmony were about nine or 10 others who wanted to move in as well.
It was Harvey and Harmony’s litter.
Dad had no choice but to let the little tykes in as well.
Harvey is known as “the world’s most resourceful dog.” Apparently, he’s especially resourceful when it comes to making babies.
Thanks to the power of TV advertising, Harvey was able to convince his dad to let the whole family move in.
