Even though they could not fully understand what we are saying, dogs could understand human emotions thus, they respond to us through that language. Babies and dogs are maybe the world’s most wholesome pair. You just can’t get enough of watching their adorable interactions along with the special kind of bond that they share.
A wholesome family in Ireland owns a Beagle named Charlie and noticed the sweet interactions he had with their baby Laura Olivia ever since the baby was born.
They have documented their wholesome moments together and decided to share it with everyone on the internet.
The family set up a YouTube channel for Charlie where they upload all his adventures with the family. It’s also their way of showing the world that dogs and babies could be the best of friends.
This one video shows how sensitive Charlie is to the baby’s emotions.
One day, the mom was entertaining Laura with her toys. However, Charlie suddenly entered the room and grabbed the toy from his mother’s hands without asking. As Laura saw her colorful toy disappear in front of her, she started bawling.
Charlie immediately dropped the toy and ran toward Laura with a worried look on his face. After assessing the situation, Charlie realized that it was actually his fault for making the baby cry.
The family was surprised by what Charlie did afterward.
The guilty Beagle started running around the house and his mom wondered why. After a few seconds, Charlie came back with a ball in his mouth and put it beside Laura. The baby already stopped crying but Charlie wanted to make amends for what he did earlier. However, Charlie was still not satisfied and continued to look for more toys to give to Laura.
He gave the baby a gaming controller that he found on the cabinet and scoured the room for some more. Charlie then pulled a box of toys underneath the baby’s crib and started stacking the toys on top of Laura. Laura does not seem to mind being covered with her own toys; in fact, she seemed even happy with their interaction.
Charlie was happy seeing the baby was not crying anymore.

At that moment, Charlie knew that Laura is not sad anymore. To make up for grabbing her toy earlier, Charlie kissed the baby, hoping that she would forgive him.
It worked, and their mom was really proud of what Charlie did for Laura.
The video was taken in 2014, and currently, it has over 24 million views. Laura has now grown up and her relationship with Charlie and another Beagle named Lilly has grown even stronger.
