Friendship
Deer who’s been best friends with dog for 11 years brings her babies to meet him every spring
This is easily the most adorable friendship I have ever seen. She trusts him so much around her little ones. 🥰🐾

Seeing different animals being close friends is really heartwarming.

These bonds remind us that somehow, even with different species, a level of understanding and acceptance could be reached.

Take G-Bro and Buttons, for instance.

Joining the long list of odd animal duos are G-Bro, a golden retriever, and Buttons the deer.

These two friends have always been inseparable all thanks to a decade-long friendship.

The most adorable pals ever seen.

They’ve been at each other’s side for 11 years, which meant Buttons and G-Bro practically grew up around each other.

They’ve reached their milestones alongside each other and celebrated life together.

All differences aside

While they are of different species, this never stopped them from bonding and enjoying the same things most especially what nature has to offer.

Buttons and G-Bro love taking hikes or just hanging out in the backyard. What’s more astonishing is the level of comfort Buttons shows around her friends and family.

She will lay down on the grass like it was a safe place for her and indeed it was.

Not far from her is G-Bro

He just surrenders whenever Buttons grooms his fur. He’ll sometimes roll on the grass and stay in a playful mood until Buttons approaches him to play.

Their dynamics might look strange for some but their owners believe that they’ve accepted each other as family.

Buttons will walk to the back door.

For G-Bro’s owners, this means that she was looking for her best friend. If they fail to let G-Bro out in a timely manner, she’ll paw at the door to hurry them up.

The family always obliges, though.

After all, G-Bro is the only one that Buttons has for a family. That is until she came back with an interesting set of young ones.

But how did they get here in the first place? The Browns shared with the animal channel The Dodo that they knew someone who took care of a deer.

So when someone saw a deer get hit by a car, they called the family for help.

At first, the family’s intention was to rehabilitate Buttons so she could go back to the wild where she belongs.

It wasn’t how things panned out, however, and they just accepted Buttons as family.

Now Buttons returns the favor.

One day, Buttons visited the family. But it was different this time because, at that moment, she was not alone.

She brought her children to visit their uncle. And even if it was strange for them to have a dog for an uncle, the little fawns didn’t seem to mind.

G-Bro takes being an uncle seriously.

He treats each fawn with gentleness and care like they’re his own. After all, he’ll be hanging out with these kids every spring from now on.

The family was more than excited about how things turned out.

They shared with The Dodo that the house was full of screaming when G-Bro interacted with Buttons’ kids for the first time.

But to describe what they’re feeling, let’s just say that everything felt warm and magical.
