Adorable Doggy Slumber Party Goes Viral

Sleepovers are fun no matter what age you are.

There’s just something special about waking up next to the ones you love.

This apparently goes for dogs too. Puppy pals Penny and Banjo love having slumber parties together.

Penny and Banjo became BFFs from the moment they met.

It happened one day when the two of them were enjoying a day out on the town with their humans.

They just love being around each other and always recognize one another when they see each other.

“They have been great friends ever since and always recognize each other right away,” Banjo’s mom Marisa Folz told The Dodo. “They both greatly enjoy each other’s company!”

Since Penny and Banjo grew so fond of each other, their parents thought it would be a good idea to enroll them in the same doggy daycare.

That means they got to spend five days a week, eight hours a day together.

Playing, napping, and dogging around.

Unfortunately, their fun days together didn’t last.

This is because Penny and her family had to move.

Thankfully Penny only moved about 30 minutes away.

Even though they don’t get to spend as much time together as they used to, they still get to see each other.

Their parents always plan playdates, meet up at the dog park, the dog beach, or swimming pools.

And Penny and Banjo are always so excited when they get to see each other again.

It’s like they never miss a beat.

“They absolutely love seeing each other,” Folz said. “Happy wagging tails and instantly playing! It’s like they never left each other!”

The two dogs got some real quality time together when their families went on vacation. Each family babysat their dog’s best friend when their family went on vacation.

“Penny stayed with Banjo for a week and then Banjo stayed with Penny the next week,” Folz explained.

And the results were absolutely adorable.

Their families took the cutest pictures of them cuddling and just being happy that they were together.

They got to sleep in the same cozy bed together.

They even slept paw to paw.

“They seem to comfort each other and relax the other, very ‘Notebook’-esque,” Folz said.

They were inseparable the entire time.

Basically, it was the ultimate slumber party.

The love between these two has inspired thousand after their photos went viral on Reddit. These two love each other so much and living 30 miles apart from each other can’t change that.
