Meet Wiley: a sweet Dalmatian puppy with some very unique fur markings. Wiley’s love is as plain as the nose on his face!
Wiley moved in with his mom, Lexi Smith, in March 2018. He quickly revealed that he has a sweet and sassy personality:
“I taught him ‘sit’ pretty early, so now whenever he wants anything, he just sits and expects to be rewarded with it,” Smith told The Dodo. “He scoffs and grunts at you when you tell him no, but he doesn’t have to deal with that often since he’s so cute and usually gets his way.”
Wiley is an exuberant puppy who has no shyness at all—he feels that everyone he meets is his friend. He loves cuddling with his mom, hiking, and hanging out with cat sibling. He has tons of energy, and his mission in life seems to be to make everyone happy.
When Wiley was old enough, Smith began taking him out on adventures around her hometown of Denver, Colorado. Everywhere they went, people wanted to stop and pet Wiley. His heart-shaped nose was a real hit!
“Everyone notices the heart,” Smith says. “Can’t take him anywhere without being mobbed, but he loves all the attention. He is cute and he knows it! He is a stubborn little sweetheart full of sass and constantly making me laugh.”
Wiley became a local celebrity, known for his adorable heart-shaped nose. Smith began posting photos of Wiley on Instagram, and he quickly became an internet celebrity too. He soon had over 15,000 followers who love seeing what little Wiley is up to every day.
Smith shares lots of cute photos, including photos of Wiley enjoying his toys. One of his all-time favorite toys doesn’t actually belong to him—it’s a cat toy! But that doesn’t bother Wiley.
She also shares sweet photos of Wiley watching his favorite movie, which is naturally “101 Dalmatians.”
Sometimes, Wiley gets dressed up to go out on the town. He always looks very dapper!
Wiley also gets along well with other dogs. Here he is sharing the love with his friend Tucker!
Smith wasn’t sure at first if Wiley was going to keep his famous heart-shaped nose as he got older:
“I wasn’t sure if it was going to stick because the top left part of it was a somewhat detached spot.”
Now, Wiley is starting to get bigger, but the heart-shaped nose doesn’t seem to be going anywhere. It seems like Wiley is going to keep wearing his love on his face!
