A boy and his dog are really just two best friends. Some kids wait their whole lives for their parents to finally allow their best friend in their lives.
They beg and plead for a puppy until their parents finally give in.
And most people remember every moment of that day when they are introduced to their new furry best friend.
The day Hudson’s dad finally gave in, he couldn’t wait to introduce his son to his new forever friend a 3-month-old Australian Shepherd mix that he adopted from the Atlanta Humane Society close to where they live in Kennesaw, Georgia.
He drove straight to his school.
And his little boy’s reaction was well worth it. Their adorable first time meeting was caught on video.
“I rescued a 3-month-old Australian Shepherd mix from the Atlanta Humane Society and went straight to my son’s school to surprise him. As seen in the video, he had a great reaction, but still wonders how he’s going to sit in his car seat,” dad explains.
Hudson is so smart, as most children are, that he sensed something was up.
“Why did you park right here?” the little boy asks his dad.
“I just did,” his dad tells him. “Hey, can you open the door for me. This is for your, your surprise is in the car it’s for you.”
The tiny little boy then adorably struggles with the door to find out what his surprise is.
“What is that?” dad asks.
“Oh cute,” his son exclaims. “A puppy. You got me a puppy! He loves me.”
Hudson’s face breaks out into a huge grin as he hugs and snuggles the puppy.
Honestly, we’re not sure who is happier now.
Hudson or the puppy because the puppy is making the happiest face by this point.
“He’s a good puppy and he has blue eyes like me,” the sweet boy says. “He looks amazing!”
But Hudson only has one question at this point.
“How can I sit in here if a puppy is in my car seat?” he asks.
The video of this sweet boy and his new friend ended up going viral.
“Awwwww that puppy and the little boys smile,” one YouTuber wrote. “Awww they are cute. This totally made my day.”
