When you lose a dog, you are losing a member of your family. Just because your canine companion isn’t a human doesn’t mean you don’t treat them like one! Unfortunately, part of the reality of owning a dog is the inevitable “goodbye”.
While dogs are on the earth, they live life to the fullest.
Despite the one “flaw” of dogs being that they don’t live as long as we would like them to, they make up for it by jamming multiple lifetimes of joy and love into their few years. As a result, when a dog moves on from this life, they leave behind more love and memories than even some humans do!
For one man, his husky moved on too soon.
It never feels like it’s “time” when our dogs leave us. The best thing we can do is to remember their lives. Also, there is a special joy in going through the grieving process and then getting to fall in love with another puppy a few years later!
Cooper was a husky that passed away – leaving his mark on a family.
In a recent video, a family decided to do something special for their dad, who had lost a dog a few years back.
“We had a husky in our family for almost 13 years; but he passed away two years ago and it was really hard on my dad, as they had a very close bond.
When their dad found out what the surprise was, however, it brought tears to his eyes.
Walking in from work, the dad was confronted with a little furry bundle on the floor.
When you walk through a door and are greeted with a fuzzy lump in the ground, you don’t always know what to do! For one shocked moment, the man stood there, trying to comprehend what was happening. When it finally clicked, his whole demeanor changed.
“My dad had been looking to get a new husky since Cooper passed away, but my mom kept telling him we were done with huskies. This year we decided to surprise him with Tyabaya; his new Siberian red husky!” she continued.
His family had gotten him a new puppy!
After years of waiting for a new dog, his family finally surprised him with one! The little red dog was wearing a pink collar and looked as cute as possible. When Tyabaya was finally picked up, it was love at first sight!
“Is this real? Are you for real?”
In a sign of near shock, the man kept asking the family if what was happening was real! Constantly reassuring him that, yes, this was, in fact, a real thing, he still couldn’t believe it!

Having such a close bond with a dog is a wonderful thing.
Watching the man tear up from the simple act of holding a puppy is one of the most heartwarming things you can see! The family got the pup in May, so they have had the perfect time to train a puppy during lockdown!
