Have you ever met a dog that you didn’t like? We know that we haven’t! Even the grumpy ones cheer us up. In fact, we find them downright hilarious. From grumpy boxers to tiny Chihuahuas with the biggest bark, these are all of our favorites.
Getting angry isn’t often a good look for humans. However, if you’re a cute little puppy, the humans will shower you with love no matter what mood you are in. In addition, don’t forget to check out number 40 on this list. We’ve saved the best for last!
1. Deep Thinker
This French bulldog is thinking long and hard about something. Whatever is on his mind has obviously got him a little bit upset. He would prefer it if no one bothered him right now.
2. Toothy Grin
Some dogs like to show their teeth when they get grumpy. It makes them feel big and vicious, even if they aren’t actually that way in real life. Their silly behavior just makes people laugh at them.

3. Lookin’ Happy
Bulldogs always seem to have a gloomy expression on their faces. It’s just their natural look. All of those saggy wrinkles ultimately end up in a smile that hangs upside-down, or in other words, a permanent frown.
4. Winter Weather
Not everyone is excited about the first snowfall of the year. That includes this goofy pup. She has the cutest hat and scarf combo ever, but she’s worried that it won’t be enough to protect her from the elements.
5. Getting Old Quick
It’s day 18 on planet earth for this pup, but he’s seen better. Day 17 was so much more fun for him. It’s only been a few weeks and he’s already starting to get jaded about life.
6. Rainy Days
Some dogs like the water and some dogs don’t. Stigma the Border Collie is one of the ones that don’t. He hates it when he has to go out in the rain and his fur gets all wet!
7. Too Cool
Just add one sideways American trucker hat to any grumpy pup and it will instantly transform it into a hilarious sensation. A hat always makes a grumpy dog look cuter. That’s a fact!
8. Angry Frenchie
Here we have another French bulldog with a grumpy demeanor. Every time that he opens his mouth, people think that he’s upset. However, that’s just his standard smile.
9. Vet Visits Stink
This dog has a real reason to be mad. He was in an accident and had to go to the veterinarian’s office. Now, he has to wear this big, ridiculous cone on his head all week.
10. Uncomfortable Christmas Gift
It looks like someone was a good boy this year. He got a new sweater for the holidays. However, he is still getting accustomed to how it fits and isn’t entirely sure that he likes it yet.
11. Protecting My Toys
What makes this dog the angriest? It turns out, it’s when people try to steal his favorite toy from him. If you try and grab it, he gets the biggest scowl on his face.
12. Funny Faces
It doesn’t matter what expression this dog makes, he is going to look hilarious regardless. Whether he is angry, sad, happy, or mad, it doesn’t really matter. He inspires the whole room to laughter on a daily basis.

13. Royally Upset
Murphy is a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, however, that’s sort of a mouthful to say. Most people just call them Cavvies. Even when they are mad, they are still one of the cutest breeds around.
14. Annoying Activity
“Can you tell I was having the time of my life,” the photo description reads. The sarcasm is quite obvious. She had to sit in the baby play chair for what seemed like forever, all because her owners wanted her to do a photo shoot.
15. Waiting For Delivery
There is a lot going on outside and a lot to be angry about. For example, the sound of the delivery trucks in the distance bringing packages to all of the boys and girls. Why aren’t they bringing him any packages? Dogs like packages too.
16. Holiday Blues
“It’s that time of year again when everyone expects me to muster up the Christmas spirit”, thinks the dog. However, she just can’t seem to do it. She can’t understand why everyone is so cheerful and jolly when it’s so cold outside.
17. Messy Eater
Being a long-haired dog isn’t easy according to this poor pup. He has some real grievances. For starters, every time that he eats, various sticky food crumbs get stuck all through his beard.
18. Dust Mop Confusion
Technically, Dewey is a Brussel’s Griffon, a breed that originates from Belgian street dogs. However, if you thought that he was actually a dust mop when you first saw him, we don’t blame you. He gets that all of the time!
19. Resting Grump Face
“Mama calls this my resting grump face,” explains the dog on Instagram. It’s a pretty accurate description. It’s a face that is both grumpy and hilarious.
20. Quiet In The Library
We’re not sure whether this crabby expression is either coerced or natural. However, if one thing is for sure, it’s that it certainly is cute. The glasses make her look like an angry librarian.
21. Passing Judgement
Meet Josh. This is the face that Josh makes when he’s mad. People were making fun of him for his choice of sweaters. However, if you are judging him, you can be certain that he is judging you back too!

It’s freezing out, yet, according to the dog, the blanket is barely helping. Where did all of the sunshine and warm weather go? That’s what she wants to know.
23. Sleeping Beauty
Dogs rarely like it when someone disturbs their sleep. If they are deep in slumber, it’s best that you stay well away. That goes double for this dog. She hates it when people mess up her naps.
24. Bath Time
What’s up with this Cocker Spaniel’s attitude? Could it be that they are trying to make him take a bath again? Judging by all of the dirt and that sour expression on his face, that has to be it!
25. Haircut Rebellion
Nothing makes this French Westie angrier than when she is forced to get her hair cut against her will. Every time that her hair gets long and beautiful, the mean humans decide to trim it all off. It makes no sense.
26. Surgery Recovery
Poor little Ruby has seen better days. She’s pretty grumpy about her situation now and we don’t blame her! However, we’re positive that before she knows it, she’ll be back to as good as new.
27. Awkward New Hat
Bobble hats sure do make a dog look cute. However, they aren’t the most comfortable thing for a dog to wear. That much is pretty obvious!
28. Spoiled But Lovable
This is that spoiled pouty face that a dog makes when she doesn’t get what she wants. She always asks really nicely for a treat and she doesn’t like it when her owners deny her. It is really upsetting for her.
29. All Bundled Up
When it comes to winter coats, it’s sort of a catch-22. Dogs dislike the cold so they need the coats to go outside. However, they also dislike wearing clothing items. Which one is worse?
30. Completely Misunderstood
Just because a dog looks grumpy doesn’t mean that he is. That’s what this pup hopes that people will realize one day. Most people already start to judge him before they even get to meet him.
31. Eyes Don’t Lie
This pup harbors quite a large amount of anger for such a little guy. Just look at those angry eyes if you don’t believe us. They say everything that needs to be said.
32. Layering Up
First, it was just a little jacket that the humans made him wear in the winter. Now, they are demanding that he put on full snowsuits before he goes outside. According to him, it’s a little much.
33. Merry Christmas
This Chihuahua is super skeptical of photographs. He just doesn’t like them. However, every holiday season, they make him pose for the Christmas card photo anyway.

34. Naughty Or Nice
This pup just found out he was on the naughty list this year. Santa will not be bringing him any presents. Not unless he changes his bad behavior!
35. Attack Dog
What do they say about Chihuahuas? They are all bark and no bite right? Well, this guy begs to differ. He is just daring you to test him.
36. Monday Face
Nobody likes Mondays. Not me, not you, and definitely not this hilarious pup. Why oh why can’t it just be the weekend again?
37. Leave Me Alone
When this puppy is working on his laptop, you better keep your distance. He does not like to be bothered. He just wants to browse the beef jerky videos on YouTube in peace.
38. Awaiting Winter
Some dogs hate the snow, but this little dude is the opposite. He’s all prepared for the weather and raring to go. Yet, there is not a snowflake in sight. What bad luck!
39. Set Me Down
It looks like someone doesn’t enjoy being carried. We totally get why he’s upset about it. Walking is a lot of fun. He is temporarily missing out on one of his favorite activities.
40. Playing Dress Up
Nala is a shockingly unique specimen. It’s safe to say that she is truly one of a kind. No matter whether she is wearing a rainbow unicorn costume or just being her typical grumpy self, she never fails to bring a smile to all of our faces.
