Depending on your opinion, howling could either be one of the creepiest sounds ever or one of the cutest. You would be forgiven for thinking the former as Hollywood and cartoons would use howling as a sign for creepy moments to follow. Plus, wolves are cool.
This howling pup will change your opinion on the matter. His name is Cooper and is eight weeks old in this video. This super cute Beagle likes to pretend that he’s a big alpha wolf by howling.
It’s too adorable.
Little Cooper discovered he could howl. So naturally, the little pup liked to show it off. He stays on the couch, looking ridiculously cuddly, where he waits for his human to command him to howl.
Yes, he does it on command. Cooper doesn’t go around barking and howling for no reason. He is a very good boy!
Cooper is camera ready.
Mom’s got a camera! Cooper is ready and mom’s two year old will be his director. The little boy howls in the background and right on cue, the Beagle starts howling as if he’s the leader of the pack.
Cooper throws in all his emotions too! He raises his head high, howling to the heavens with all his might. The little guy must have thought he was perched on high ground where other forest dwellers can hear him.
A hound for pound!
Cooper is very much what his breed is described as. Merry, fun loving, curious, cute, and on and on. Small and compact, with their nose always sniffing and following a scent, this little hound is a real life cartoon character.
Very much like Snoopy! Playful and jolly but with a hint of stubbornness. The dog is really outgoing with an inquisitive nature. It doesn’t help that they have those soft, pleading eyes sure to melt hearts!
A howling hit!
Cooper’s howling got him almost 10.8 million views in twelve years. Which means the pup has fans!
A viewer posted,
“His howl is so powerful, his neck can’t hold his head forward when he does it.”
That’s puppy power!
“He honestly reminded of snoopy when tossed his little head back and the big floppy ears going flying back too. Snoopy looks just like that when he howls. So cute.”
Says another viewer.
The pack attack.
Beagles have no problems being with lots of people. It’s part of who they are! And strangers? Prepare to make new friends! That’s the trick with them. Once they get bored when left alone, they will wander around and even outside, digging holes and acting like they’re on a hunt.
If a Beagle is not trained well, they will give headaches. And yes, they bark and howl so patience with training is of the utmost importance. Beagles love to eat. Monitor their food intake and make sure the food is stored where the dog can’t find them.
Look at how Cooper’s tiny paws tap and lift off the armrest when he howls! It’s like all that energy channeled through his mouth just lifts his body up!
