Meet Nekku, the corgi with one eye and two noses!

This little dog is far from your average corgi! Born with a birth defect, Nekku has grown up and lived her entire life a little differently than other corgi’s. She was born with only one eye and two noses. Quite the image, right? On top of her visible issues, she was also born with two fused vertebrae in her back.
When she was born, the vet and the breeder recommended her to be put down.

With so many issues, the vet and the breeder both believed that it would be better for everyone if the little dog were put to sleep immediately. As it was looking like things would move towards that, Jarmo Korhonen stepped up to the rescue.
Jarmo Korhonen is from Finland and wanted to give the dog a chance.
In a moment, Jarmo showed his purity of heart and felt for the little dog with all the issues. He truly believed that she deserved at least a chance at life. Finally, he officially decided to adopt the corgi and bring her into his little family.
Nekku was in good company!

Jarmo didn’t just have a normal family; it was full of other corgis! When he brought Nekku home, he introduced her to Niisk-Neiti and Karkki, his two other corgis. Nowadays, Nekku is happy as ever!
Years ago, little Nekku was about to be put to sleep and never woken up.

Jarmo undoubtedly saved Nekku’s life that day. Now, she is 8-years-old and living life to the fullest in the beautiful countryside of Finland. Jarmo will even occasionally joke about nicknaming Nekku, “Baretta,” because her two noses look like the barrel of a gun!
While walking in the nearby city, Jarmo and Nekku get stopped a lot.
Understandably, Nekku’s appearance is quite unique, and the duo is prone to get stopped by curious people. The people stopping them love to ask questions and overwhelmingly love her! Even with her unique appearance, she still gets all the love her little doggy heart desires.
Funny enough, her adopted siblings thought her birth defects were interesting!

When Jarmo brought Nekku home for the first time, the other two would often just stare at her face! Dogs have no sense of social inhibition for things like that, do they?
Nowadays, Nekku lives with Jarmo’s mother in the country.

The little dog has some issues with depth perception, and the wide-open areas of the country outside of an apartment are better for her. Bumping your head is funny the first time and pretty bothersome the 100th. In her life of love and luxury, Jarmo and his mother regularly keep up her social media account so the world can follow along with her adventures.
