People will go to drastic lengths to pamper their furry friends. Some pet parents outfit their pets with elaborate leashes, clothing, toys, foods, and other accessories.
One of the latest trends is buying your pet a fancy bed.
Many people used to have their pets sleep outdoors back in the day, but pet owners nowadays buy elaborate post beds or even fancy mattress for their dogs. I mean, I don’t even have a Tempur-Pedic bed but there are dogs out there that do.
One company was keen on this trend and how much pet lovers like to spoil their animals and decided they would create THE most adorable (and downright clever) promotion of all time.
And it has the internet going crazy!
According to PEDYESTRIAN, Mexican mattress company Colochonera Berun not only makes mattresses just for pets but they decided to give away free pet mattresses to people who showed up with their pets in costume.
Apparently, pet parents swarmed the store on the day of the promotion and the photos of that day were insanely cute.
All of the pets in the photos look ridiculously happy too.
As if they all know that they are getting their very own fancy mattress. Well, except for the cat, but the dogs were in their freaking glory! I mean look how happy this little guy is!
They apparently ended up giving away about 50 mattresses that day.
The photos from that day were so cute that people on the internet were going crazy over them.
“This is so adorable! I don’t need a new mattress but now I desperately want one from this store so I can be given a mini doggie mattress for the dog I don’t have,” one Reddit user said.
“Is it weird I want that mattress? I have no dog, but it’s so cute,” said a Twitter user.
“OMG this is my kind of store!!! Yess!!! Give me a doggy mattress for my bby,” said another.
“STOP WHERE THO THIS COMPANY DESERVES MY MONEY.”
Other commenters posted memes of people crying happy tears making reference to how ridiculously adorable the concept is. More and more companies are making mattress specifically for pets. Including Nest Bedding, Serta, Casper, and others.
And from the looks on these dogs faces, it seems that investing in a pet mattress is well worth it!
