Aww!
Cockatoo Hilariously Rocks Out To Music
He rocked out so much harder than I expected him to.

There are certain songs in this world that have the power to drive a person wild. If there were a list, many would agree that Guns N’ Roses’ “Welcome to the Jungle” would be on it (and perhaps near the top).

A lot of us have jammed out listening to “Welcome to the Jungle” over the years because of its insane hard rock sound. One pet owner discovered that even her bird couldn’t resist dancing to the 80s track. Lucky for us, she had the camera rolling when he did because his response is just awesome.

Sam the Cockatoo is a bird that likes to dance. He has a YouTube channel with videos of him showing off his sweet skills.

When it comes to music styles, Sam seems to be open to a variety. If you check out his channel you’ll see he’s let loose to Ed Sheeran, polka, rap, and the mega-hit “Despacito.” But out of all his dance sessions – there’s one that really captured the internet’s attention.

“Welcome to the jungle,” Sam!

In the video, Sam is sitting on his birdcage as the song begins playing in the background. He starts bopping along at first, but then suddenly stops. The cockatoo seems intrigued by the haunting intro of “Welcome to the Jungle,” with its guitar music and siren-like sound. Oh, you just wait, Sam.

As the song goes on, Sam can’t hold back any longer.

The music slowly builds up in the intro of “Welcome to the Jungle,” and the cockatoo gets his head moving. But as we know, the song reaches a point of explosion. Eventually, Sam’s head feathers pop out and he starts headbanging like he’s at a heavy metal concert!

This bird is really feeling the music and his owner thinks it’s hysterical.

While headbanging would be hilarious enough, Sam starts wildly flapping his wings just as Axl gets into the lyrics. In the video, a woman can be heard cracking up watching the show (it really is pretty funny).

One viewer commented:

“Best bird dancing I’ve ever seen! The headbanging was spot on. Also, he has excellent taste in music!”

According to Songfacts, “Welcome to the Jungle” is about the “dark side” of Los Angeles, and what many fame-seekers encounter when moving to the city. It appeared on Guns N’ Roses 1987 debut album Appetite for Destruction.

“Welcome to the Jungle” even made it to Rolling Stone’s “500 Greatest Songs of All Time” list, sitting it 473.

Sam needs a break.

From what it appears, headbanging can be pretty tiring, even for a bird! A short time in his “wild” dancing comes to a halt. He stands for a few moments still soaking in the GN’R. But this bird isn’t quite done yet.

Let those big feathers fly.

Sam fans his feathers out even more and gets back to jamming – moving his head from side to side. Something tells me mom’s gonna have to dig out all of her hard rock albums!

By no surprise, Sam’s rock out session has won over the internet. It’s gathered comments like:

“This guy dances better then most of the humans on this earth”

Another wrote:

“I haven’t laughed like that in a while!!! He went so hard when it dropped!!! 😂😂😂”
